In the 1980s, the animation was released on home videotapes by the "Goskino USSR Video Program" in the SECAM system.

In the first half of the 2000s, the film was released on VHS and DVDs by the Soyuz video studio in the collection "Tales for Kids".

Thanks to the interesting interpretation of the director N. Fyodorov and the artist M. Rudachenko, the characters of the fable became painted symbols of two different principles of attitude to life.
