Will The Wall have another season or a new host? Deadline reports NBC is assessing the status of the TV show's third season in light of recent sexual abuse accusations against host Chris Hardwick.The game show centers on pairs of players as they pursue a cash prize of up to $12 million by answering a series of trivia questions. NBC renewed the series for a third season back in March.

Chris Hardwick’s future as host of The Wall has yet to be determined, according to NBC.

The Peacock network on Saturday released a statement in light of allegations of abuse leveled against Hardwick by ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra. It reads as follows:

These allegations about Chris Hardwick took us by surprise as we have had a positive working relationship with him. However, we take allegations of misconduct very seriously. Production on The Wall does not begin until September, and in the meantime we are continuing to assess the situation and will take appropriate action based on the outcome.

The Talking Dead host has landed a weekly talk show, Talking With Chris Hardwick, at AMC, the network announced on Wednesday. The new show — premiering Sunday, April 9 at 11/10c — will feature Hardwick conducting an hour-long interview with a single guest or cast from the world of pop culture, and will air each week that The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead aren’t airing. NBC has ordered 20 more episodes of new freshman game show “The Wall,” which is executive produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, and hosted by Chris Hardwick. The announcement was made Wednesday morning during NBC’s Television Critics Association press event. “When we started ‘The Wall’ we wanted to create something that would get families excited and change peoples’ lives,” NBA star James said. “Maverick and I couldn’t be more proud of the show’s early success and we want to keep building on that.
