Is a spin-off of "Narrows".
This film was intended to explain what happened after the mid-season cancellation of "Narrows" Season 2. The reason it was canceled was due to two cast members moving out of Sarasota midway into production. Scheduling conflicts also played a major factor in the cancellation too. Thomas wanted to create a new ending for the series because he enjoyed making the show and didn't want fans to have an open ending.
The fight scene was primarily shot in one night. Pick-up shots were completed the following week and the week before.
This was Thomas' first production in over 4 months. With "Darkest Case" being pushed back to possibly an early 2018 release, Thomas decided to work on this film and "The Burnt Bridge" until he could continue work on the second Season.
