I'll keep this review brief and without spoilers, unless anybody wishes for a more detailed review.
The sound engineering was horrible for the most of the movie so much so that despite understanding the language I still had to consult subtitles for an explanation of what was going on.
Camerawork was okay, there were a few questionably shot scenes but apart from them it wasn't bad.
As the headline says this movie has too many plot lines involving too many characters.
Characters are mostly underdeveloped besides two that I'd like to discuss in more details after this spoiler free review.
Lastly it feels like priority of scenes in the movie is a bit skewered, most effective scenes are wasted because at the point they are used we haven't yet gotten a good grasp on the characters.
Acting was mediocre and at points bad.
Movie has too many cases where it tells us things rather than showing them, something which should be avoided as much as possible in visual media such as movies.
This movie tries to explore pedophilia, homosexuality, homophobia and even family issues to a degree. However instead of end goal being a critique of modern day society's tendency to focus on benign traits of it's members, and an inside look of a pedophiles mind,we get a lot of unresolved stories that could have potentially worked if they were separated.
In conclusion this is a movie with a lot of potential but none of it realized making it even infuriating at some points where you ask yourself: Was this scene necessary?,as there are a few scenes that could have been left out and instead made way for more development of the already presented plot and characters.
I can't really recommend this movie but the director and writers do show promise,as evidenced by a few more fleshed out characters and one of the quite interesting and captivating plot lines, it's just that they shouldn't try to cram so many b plots into such a short,as far as this particular movie goes, run time.
