Originally set to be released October 2017, but delays in shooting occurred due to the need to move to different locations to resume shooting, there were reshoots that were needed as a result of some performers schedules conflicting with the new shooting days, along with two performers quitting near the end of production, all of which prevented the film from getting released in 2017 or even an October 2018 release. The film then had to have a new ending written as a result of the two quitting before production wrapped and the new ending along with other essential scenes were shot throughout the following summers, due to having to work around scheduling with people, since most of the cast and crew having full time jobs, and there finally was a rough cut done around 2021. The directors were satisfied with the rough cut and only needed a few more scenes to be reshot to help the flow and pacing of the film.
