Alia Shawkat, Seth Rogen, Kumail Nanjiani, Lakeith Stanfield, Zack Fox and Tony Hale have joined Kristen Stewart in “The Wrong Girls” at Neon.
The film, which marks Dylan Meyer’s directorial debut, began shooting last week, becoming one of the first independent films going into production in Los Angeles following January’s devastating wildfires. Neon will release the film theatrically in the U.S. and represent the international rights.
Over the course of the film’s 29-day production, which began last week, the film will employ approximately 100 people per day, 95% of which will be local L.A. residents, including Emmy-nominated cinematographer Todd Banhazl, singer-songwriter and composer Ty Segall and Emmy-nominated costumer Heidi Bivens (“Euphoria”).
Written and directed by Meyer (“Moxie”), the film follows Frankie (Stewart) and Molly (Shawkat), codependent best friends living paycheck to paycheck and bong rip to bong rip, when a case of mistaken identity throws their lives into chaos.

Seven seasons long, Parks and Recreation followed a familiar sitcom troupe, of a mockumentary style series made famous by the likes of The Office and Modern Family. An 8.6-rated series on IMDb, Parks and Recreation gave its fans innumerable iconic moments and a wealth of memorable characters.

From Chris Pratt to Rob Lowe, the series became an important part of a number of careers during its run and completely deserves the love and praise it continues to get. That also seems to be true with respect to the way the cast gelled off the screen, with Lowe only recently revealing how the major actors on the show have continued to keep in touch, even all these years later.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a man of many titles, Terminator, Governator, bodybuilder, action hero, and the guy who made sunglasses look like a necessity rather than an accessory. But there’s one title that often flies under the radar, Dad of Five.
Yep, the Austrian Oak has five ambitious kids, all trying to carve their own paths in Hollywood, business, and beyond. While they all have their fair share of accomplishments, one name is currently making the biggest waves, Patrick Schwarzenegger.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Patrick Schwarzenegger, apparently makes quite an impression in the upcoming third season of The White Lotus.
The action icon attended a premiere screening of the HBO anthology drama and posted a photo of the two on Instagram.
In the caption, the 77-year-old Arnold wrote in the caption about his 31-year-old son: “I was so pumped to take a break from filming to celebrate @patrickschwarzenegger at The White Lotus season three premiere. What a show! I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say — the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Don’t miss it this Sunday — trust me.”
Patrick later responded to his father, writing simply, “Parents” (with the facepalm emoji).

Though “Sex Lives of College Girls” fans know Gracie Lawrence as Kacey, a theater nerd and the new fourth roommate in Season 3, things could have been much different.
“She was a finalist to play Kimberly in Season 1,” co-creator and executive producer Justin Noble says, adding that Lawrence was in the final three under consideration for the role, which eventually went to Pauline Chalamet. But two seasons later, as the minds behind “Sex Lives of College Girls” conceptualized Kacey for the small screen, Lawrence’s audition once again stood out.
“She’s so funny and charming,” Noble says, comparing Lawrence’s take on Kacey to a “cute little Reese Witherspoon character” who rounds out the rest of the cast.
Lawrence, a singer-songwriter and actor also known for her band, Lawrence, which she co-leads with her brother Clyde, had previous credits on Showtime’s series “Billions” and the Netflix film “Moxie.”

Upgrading Indy's health in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is one of the most important goals for many new players. This latest publication from Bethesda Softworks has completely altered how one would look at health and other skill upgrade systems. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle puts you at the forefront of the choices that Indiana Jones makes, putting them literally in his shoes and tossing them his whip. Starting players off in Vatican City is an excellent mix of action, adventure, and stealth that allows you to upgrade skills to explore in more fulfilling ways.
The health system is a bit complicated at first, as it functions on a system of requirements different from what you typically see. Many of the skills rely on certain books in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which can be found around the world to be upgraded, normally located in more obscure...

“The Sex Lives of College Girls” is back for Season 3, with some major switch ups to the core four.
While Leighton (Reneé Rapp), Whitney (Alyah Chanelle Scott), Bela (Amrit Kaur) and Kimberly (Pauline Chalamet) reunite for sophomore year, their reunion is short-lived as Rapp’s Leighton exits the series mid-season.
Meanwhile, the Max series welcomes two new cast members in Mia Rodgers and Gracie Lawrence, who play new Essex arrivals Taylor — an edgy international student — and Kacey — a transfer student who would rather spend time with her boyfriend than development friendships with Whitney, Bela and Kimberly.

The Linda Lindas broke out in 2021, four teenage/pre-teen rockers making the world a less fallen place with every buzzsaw riff they struck. The band went viral that year with their song “Racist, Sexist Boy,” a grunge-punk scorcher inspired by anti-Asian taunts their drummer had been subjected to on the school playground. The band had already been playing for a couple years (including opening a show for feminist-punk icons Bikini Kill that inspired Amy Poehler to include one of their songs in her movie Moxie). More background fluff from the streamer, this time from Mean Girls director Mark Waters with a splashy Thailand location
Despite experience mostly insisting caution, certain markers still allow one to naively daydream that a new Netflix comedy might be worth more than a background half-watch while ironing. A big name, an experienced writer, a genuine studio-trained director, some substantive source material, anything to allow us to glide on the brief hope that we’re not in hammy, Hallmark-adjacent territory.
This thinking sometimes works – 2019’s Let It Snow was based on a solid YA novel, 2021’s Moxie had Amy Poehler in front of and behind the camera, this year’s Players benefited from the considerable charm of star Gina Rodriguez – but it too often makes precious little difference. For Mother’s Day in the US, the streamer has Mother of the Bride, a breezy comedy that arrives from director Mark Waters,...

Hulu's Darby And The Dead stars Genneya Walton and Nicole Maines compare the new movie to classic high school comedies Clueless and Mean Girls. A nervy tale of accidental do-gooding, director Oran Zegman’s “Honor Society” is a surprisingly compelling high school caper conceived with youthful wit, aplomb and a genuinely out-of-left-field twist. Written by veteran TV scribe David A. Goodman, its teen protagonist seems a mash-up of Tracy Flick from “Election” and Cher Horowitz from “Clueless.” Possessing the former’s solipsism and the latter’s self-serving resourcefulness, Honor (a bewitching Angourie Rice) spends her days plotting her strategy to become a Harvard student in the next semester.
Honor has carefully forged this plan over the last four years. In her mind, Harvard is the only school that can guarantee her a one-way exit from a dead-end place. It’s not that her middle-class life sucks (it doesn’t) or her hardworking parents aren’t loving (they are); she’s just all too aware of the limited options her small town can provide, should...
