The first twenty minutes of dialogue was authentic. After that there wasn't a sentence, or phrase that I hadn't heard in some other screenplay. If not verbatim, easily paraphrased. The story line was alright, but overused in home invasion flicks. All of that might not have been so bad if the echo wasn't so prevalent in so many scenes.
I really wanted to like this film, and I did like some aspects of it. The synopsis was enticing. The soundtrack laid down a pretty eerie atmosphere. I could live with the harsh lighting.... I've endured worse in better movies. Overall, it's worth a least one watch.

Bad acting, direction, script, camera work, lighting, annoying background sound that I think is supposed to be background music. No makeup, special effects, visual effects. The only good point was the killer's motivation, around which a decent movie could have been written and made. With really bad movies of which I want to see the resolution, I fast forward a lot, which I recommend. Or skip it.

This is bad. The actors have all the talent of a vintage Frigidaire stove. You can tell they have all watched movies and attempted to deliver lines like an actor would but they fail miserably. The story jumps all over the place for no reason. If the director did have a reason for it then a great deal of drugs were involved in that decision. Party City should be credited for the special effects (plastic masks). If you are in need of something to waste your time, please watch a roll of aluminum foil instead of this movie.

If the film makers' objective was to make a patchwork, crazy quilt mess, rife with unlikeable characters, then they succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. I absolutely hated this movie, and turned it off about halfway through.
The acting was horrible, the direction was at least equally as bad. The editing and pace of the film we're all over the place. It was as if the director changed his mind about the course of the story every five minutes. Spare yourself and skip this utter bag of excrement. It really is that bad.

I guess the vigilante is supposed to be the "Messenger of Wrath?" He and his sidekick kind of just appear and could have been left out of the script completely and made this movie three stars instead of two. They seem to serve no purpose other than to kill the bad guys who are looking for other guys. The whole story is like three bad movies in one. There are a lot of questions and stuff in the movie that make no sense. Where is the money? Was the money behind the safe? I guess that was the money left on the nurse's windshield. Then there is the $9k that belongs to the owner of the home they randomly invade as a hideout. If you're going to make a bad movie, at least tie up some of the loose ends. The whole thing seems senseless. They could have done this low-budget flick on a lower budget by cutting out like six or seven parts. Seems like the writer/Director Callaway was just writing parts for friends or friends of the other actors to be in a movie. There was a lot of redundancy when it came to the characters. I expect to see cliched stereotypes in low-budget movies like this, but not three or four of the same character in one movie. Come on! 🤔🙄
Fun movie, though a bit messy. Could've benefited from some major editing and reduced run-time. I enjoyed the cast and the mysterious killer was ultra-cool. Nice choreography during the final showdown as well. In all, I'd say it's an enjoyable movie considering it's almost non-existent budget.
