Geraldine Chaplin as Coco Chanel in an Austrian hotel with flavour of XIX century.
Karl Lagerfeld as director. Carla Devigne as a sort of reincarnation of Elisabeth of Wittelsbach and a kind of Franz Joseph offered by young Pharell Williams. Just enough for seduce, including the night dance good reference to Cinderella.
Sure, a lot of reserves but it is a promotion gor Chanel and this excuses eccentricities, exagerations, mistakes, ambiguity or unrealism.
I saw it with indulgence and I loved the last scene -sure , the clear identity of venerable lady was the precious gift .
But, short, nice . For humor, actors, not last, for ...director.
