Shraddha Kapoor, who will be next seen playing the lead role in Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming film ‘Haseena Parkar’, which is based on the life of dreaded don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena, will be seen playing a loving mother to four kids and Apoorva revealed an interesting trivia about how the young actress prepped for the scenes with her reel kids.

Apoorva said, “There was a scene which was extended when we saw Shraddha cradle her screen kids to stop the crying. She is really patient and mature for her age. I remember her reading pregnancy books and paying attention to details like the way expectant mothers hold their backs.”

He further added, “I ensured that they (the kids) arrived two-three hours before shooting commenced and hung out together with Shraddha and Ankur Bhatia, playing and talking to each other. We also instructed the real parents to not be around during the shoot.

Priyanka Setia, who will be seen portraying lawyer in her next Haseena Parkar, says it was difficult to hate Shraddha Kapoor while shooting for court scene. As, Priyanka is fighting case against her in the film, she had to play the character with hatred.

If only Haseena Parkar didn’t suffer from the curse of a clunky, inept, shoddy central performance, it would have been a far more watchable potboiler on gangsterism. And I use the word ‘potboiler’ with all due respect. It’s not easy to make a massy masala movie out of the mayhem and murkiness of the mafia kingdom.

Rahul Dholakia’s Raees earlier this year wedded crime and kitsch. Apoorva Lakhia does it with a fair share of elan and chutzpah. Haseena Parkar is about that Dubai-based gangster who allegedly ran his nefarious business activities in Mumbai through his sister in the 1990s.

Siddhanth Kapoor has joined the league of playing B’town Bhai in Haeena Parkar. The film, which takes you to a journey of Haseena Parkar, sister of Dawood Ibrahim, played by Siddhanth real sister Shraddha Kapoor, will also show the journey of the don.

The second song, which is a peppy number, features Siddhanth Kapoor as a young Dawood Ibrahim. Liberally laced with slang words prominently used by youngsters from South-central Mumbai, ‘Bantai’ (which means ‘buddy’) shows how Dawood and his associates progress from street hoodlums to gangsters over a span of time. Composed by Sachin-Jigar, written by Slim Shetty the song is sung by Divine. A special montage song of the film it has a special call out for Siddhanth’s gang in the film.
