Yes, he's annoying, but my grandson just loves him. Actually, we both love The Dinosaur Song, I especially love the line about the size of their brains! He seems to truly enjoy teaching and entertaining children. He's smart in making each video short enough for a toddler's attention span.

I love that this show has a lot of educational factors, such as Blippi going to museums or science centers. But the entire show is nothing but free advertisement fed to children. Every episode is basically Blippi persuading children that they should go to these places. Also, it is infuriating that he has to spell his name every five minutes. My daughter is only 2 years old and walks around the house spelling his name all day when she can't even spell her own name. And when she calls out letters, I get happy because I think she's trying to say the word, but it always ends with her saying "Blippi". So now she has associated chaining any letters together as saying his name. It's kind of creepy because him spelling/writing his name seems like a way of brainwashing children to only remember HIM and nothing he teaches. Why not teach children to spell/write other words? I try to help my daughter spell other things now because of this.
I do not doubt that general education is taught in this show, but it seems to be catered more toward little boys. Also, there was an episode where Blippi goes to a demolition derby and destroys a car. He spray paints the car and beats on it. There is even an episode where he is supposed to be washing a truck but instead, he splashes the vehicle with ketchup and mustard. Like, what is my daughter supposed to learn from that? Vandalism?

I will say that I find the show an excellent to share practical (and real world experience) to things that are intellectually stimulating for a toddler, in a manner to which a toddler can understand. My son loves the character's energy, colours, and behaviour. I also believe it's a good show to help toddlers keep their childhood innocence - as for the 7/10, I've always been the more serious type.
As for the actor, well, as time moves forward, we all age, and mature - some want to leave good behind, hoping the next generation will learn beneficial, and kind, things.
As for all the parents out there, we all know how business works; show, and sell products, especially with good marketing. I also know that this series is not big budget, so it's bound to have more hiccups. I also consider this show one of the cleanest shows I have ever seen; it's much better than most media out there. That said, I know it allows my inner, child-like playfulness to come out, allowing me to bond with my child in an additional way.

My 2 year old loves Blippi and so do I!! I love that it's educational and not just another junky stupid video out there. Thank you Blippi for your hard work in putting these videos together for all of us to enjoy. Keep up the good work and can't wait for more videos!

Blippi is the kind of person you'd make sure your kids are never alone around, this creepy man child with a notorious past (just google it) is every parents' nightmare.
Also his shows are about as educational as watching paint dry. What do kids learn from watching him make random noises when he sees a object? Or do a dance that looks like someone plugged him into an electricity socket? Nothing. Awful show.

I can't fathom anyone giving Blippi a bad review, I really can't. My two year old absolutely loves him and has learned so much from him! He's very approachable and fun for children. I have also suggested him to people on my flights while inflight and he has calmed those children right down and given their parents some time to relax. His videos are well done, he teaches in such creative and insightful ways all while keeping children entertained and happy. All my son wants to watch is Blippi ("Blippi On" is common from my son) and I can bet he's all your young children will want to watch as well. I would Highly recommend Blippi!

Just trying to sell his toys extras etc. His interactions with children is extremely limited. Mr Tumble is hundred times better.

I really hated Blippi at first but the more I've watched him with my son the more I got to appreciate what he's doing. My 2 year old knows all of his colors, can count to 6, knows all the different construction vehicles and I think it has a lot to do with Blippi. He sings along to all of his very catchy songs(which get stuck in my head constantly). He is annoying but I guess that's what makes him more appealing to kids. I gotta hand it to this guy. He's capitalizing on such a simple idea and he's making millions. Kudos Blippi. If only I thought of it first haha.

This show is supposed to be geared toward teaching and entertaining kids from 2 to 5 years old. The very first episode has this guy "Blippi" teaching little kids how to paint on walls. Even tells them to shake the spray paint can! He doesn't have any artistic motives or talent and really teaches the children nothing buy negative behavours. Do we really want our little kids painting on our walls?

All four of our kids love Blippi and have watched his videos since birth. We've even gotten our friends' kids watching him. The movies are quality in content and the songs are very catchy. So much better than other junk on YouTube (like adults opening eggs with toys inside-what's up with that?)

All he does is walk around playsets and make noises and observations. "Whoa! This is cold!" "Look! A slide! Let's go down!" I have a 2-yr. old and a 5-yr. old. Kids shows are on every day in my house and this is by far the worst. This show ihas virtually no educational value, but my 2-yr. old loves it. I feel like I'm watching my ADHD, emotionally stunted friend run around and describe what he's doing. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but how he has his own show is beyond me. Storybots please.

We discovered Blippi on youtube almost 3 years ago and our son has grown up with his interesting explorations into all kinds of topics and places. The videos started out focusing mostly on construction vehicles- because of this, my 4 year old can correctly name every single one he sees. His preschool teacher was stunned when he corrected her one day over a "tractor." "No, thats an excavator!" he told her. The video subjects began to expand as Blippi hit his stride and his popularity grew. He visits museums, farms, he drives cars, flies helicopters, snowboards, and more. And through each video, he explains everything using the actual terms- nothing is dumbed down. Kids learn real information. I think that is why my son is so engrossed in them. Each video is 5-15 min or so.

I'm unsure how this show was ever approved for children.
The guy behaves like a complete idiot, and teaches to children like they are really stupid. You don't have to walk or dance around foolishly like that to gain a child's attention. Children deserve more credit than that, they are intelligent and eager to learn without this kind of behaviour. He also constantly puts on this high pitched annoying voice.
There are two different Blippi's and they are both as bad as each other.
Please don't watch this and find your child something more educational to watch that doesn't treat them like they are daft.

Every episode is a great field trip for your 2-3 year old. Blippi teachs about the real world. The one star negative reviews make me mad because obviously these people have never seen Mr. Rogers or any other related shows that teach about the real world. Your doing a great job Blippi!

My 12 year old found this on Prime and 2 year old just loves it. I can tolerate it so that's a plus. Wish there were more episodes.

Absolutely fantastic shows with very good descriptions of things I wouldn't know a thing about, taught my kids (and I) a lot of things and the Blippi character has a great personality to easily watch and learn from. Both my kids 2yr and 4yr are avid fans!
Only small portion of the show is informative, rest is junk adding up to the increased screen time. His stupid acts are irritating but at the same time, he has some well played marketing tactics. At the end of each episode he spells his name, kids learn it and even at the age they can't find anything else, they can go to his videos on youtube.
Stay away from this junk.
Stay away from this junk.
My grandson totally loves this guy and I hope he continues to make more in 2019

If Mike Roe from Dirty Jobs and Pee Wee Herman had a son his name would be Blippi.
I hated Blippi at first but over time I caught a few episodes and realized my 2 y.o. knew the difference between tires, wheels and tracks. He was learning!
Blippi seems over the top but really it is far less screaming and adrenaline than any other kids cartoon.
On the surface it's stupid but underneath there is a lot for preschoolers.
Colors, numbers, vehicles, jobs, physical fitness, even some subtle physics.
The folks that ranked low didn't take the time to watch WITH their kids. Give crazy Blippi a shot.

I get that he may not be everyone's cup of tea, but his energy is great for a kids show. Reading some of the negative reviews that said this show is not educational, I would have to disagree. He teaches kids about all kinds of different things rather than just letters, numbers etc. He shows kids what's in the world around them, where food comes from, different vehicles and their uses as well as colours and numbers and everything in between. His silly energy matches that of the kids his show is aimed at, kids get excited about things and so does he, which is what can really make learning fun for them. And some of his adventures are really neat, like learning about fire rescue helicopters, most kids would never get that advantage in real life, so it introduces kids to a huge variety of interesting things that this world has to offer. After watching cartoon pigs with a whiny voice and mind numbing plot line, I would pick Blippi any day.

To summarize: this show is pathetic. It's really quite sad to watch.
Imagine being this guy. Imagine this is what your life has come to. Imagine being an adult and running around acting more childish than even children do.
Someone honestly thought this guy was good enough to put on TV.
He is creepy. He doesn't teach kids anything. He just runs around like an absolute idiot. This show is not informative. It cannot even be considered entertainment.
Honestly, if I could rate this show lower than a one, I absolutely would. Someone needs to take this guy off the air.. He does not deserve to have a show.

He has a way of engaging kids. I could never do what he does. It takes a special kind of person to do this stuff. My son is an addict.
