In a short 11-film career Indian actor Varun Tej has already made an impact and is set to soar with his next two projects.

Tej headlines the cast of an as-yet-untitled project set in the world of the Indian Air Force, backed by Sony Pictures International Productions and Renaissance Pictures, that will take off in two months time. Seasoned commercials maker and cinematographer Shakti Pratap Singh Hada makes his directorial debut with the film, which will be Tej’s 13th.

“It based on some true events that happened between Pakistan and India. And though there have been a lot of war films, this is a story which I wanted to tell the audience and just try to show what it takes to be sitting in a fighter flight. We are really looking forward to it,” Tej told Variety. “We’re talking to a few Air Force pilots, trying to understand their psyche.

Dr Rajasekar’s latest release Psv Garuda Vega has turned out to be a big hit. Released on November 3, the spy thriller film written and directed by Praveen Sattaru opened to good reviews.

However, Rajasekar and his wife Jeevitha are now embroiled in controversy over the sale of its Hindi dubbing rights.

Sources say that Jeevitha had sold the Hindi dubbing rights to two different parties for Rs. 1 crore and Rs 2 crore, without one being aware that the other had purchased the rights.

Superstar Mahesh Babu watched Dr Rajasekhar's Psv Garuda Vega and, he took to Twitter to lavish the team with praise. Mahesh, who never misses an opportunity to praise films, lauded the filmmakers. Mahesh Babu praised Praveen Sattaru and Rajasekhar for their work along with the performances, script and the screenplay.

Actor Rajasekhar is making a comeback after a hiatus with an action thriller Psv Garuda Vega in a khaki-clad avatar.

Directed by Praveen Sattaru, the film has Dr. Rajasekhar and Vishwaroopam and Uttama Villain  fame Pooja Kumar playing the lead pair.

The theatrical trailer of the film was launched by Nandamuri Balakrishna at a special event in Hyderabad.
