Legendary Bob Dylan starring in a music video directed by Paul Schrader ("Light Sleeper", screenplay of "Taxi Driver") made in Japan, back when
the director stayed away from America to make his masterpiece "Mishima" (1985, same year as this clip). Interesting combo of personalities and vision, as
the filmmaker presents a amusing, slightly dark story of a musician (Dylan) who gets arrested for murder, and he keeps on remembering his troubled love relationship
with a woman who disappeared and might be part of the mysterious crime. And there's a dangerous Japanese guy in this scenario too.
It's all told in a humored manner and audiences keep on trying to discover what really happened in this little puzzling story, and it's fun to
watch Dylan acting, a very fine actor, and all the other actors dubbing the song while interacting with the singer make it all more enjoyable. The song is okay, sort of it grows on you after repeated listening or views of the video; and Mr. Schrader delivered
a nice composition of visuals and editing in the only music video he ever directed. Nothing more to add. 7/10.
