Alicia Rhodes' Tough Love

I've enjoyed Alicia Rhodes' work in Brit Porn videos, mostly for the locals to watch. This is listed as her final feature in IMDb, and though it puts her in the driver's seat it ain't much.

The seven, count 'em, seven sex vignettes have generic titles ranging from "Massage" and "Practice" to "Never Done Anal" and "Scared of DP", delivering a laundry list of sexual positions for the cast of British lovelies to execute. Like all of Bluebird Films' releases, the sloppiness is front in center, with one dumb scene titled "Dres for Sex" (sic).

Similar to an Anjali Kara performance for Killergram, Rhodes acts as a mentor, helping the girls have sex with their partners and frequently joining in for a threesome. It's all mechanical and demo porn, rather than developing characters or even a nominal story -the type of crap which has become industry standard. After more than 2 and a half hours have elapsed, one is bound to be bored with such trivialities.

Rhodes calls herself a "sex therapist" here, so perhaps she retired from the porn wars and joined the ranks of Ava Cadell and Victoria Zdrok in that shadow land between legit Psychotherapists and good old sex workers.
