At the first sight, the main obstacle to appreciate this film is the dialogue.
The good point is the story of love , gentle sketch about past, friendship, desire, a past relation and cure of traumas and acceptance of vulnerabilitzy of the other.
Far to be a bad film, it is , maybe, not enough inspired to reflect sensitive truths.
But, obvious, it offers a nice couple of moments and the delicacy, reflected more by image by the dialogue is the nice virtue of this film about reconstruction of friendship, after a time, after a bitter experience, defining being the gestures of boys , their silences and the pretty end. And, sure, the water of pool.

Very poor acting, in the first 30 seonds I thought I was wathcing a porn film, and this feeling never left me.
Very bad dialogs.
Empty story.
Worse lgbt film I have ever seen.

Two Fish paints a picture of a gay romance that feels very vivid and authentic. I was enraptured by the imagery...the open serenity of blue water interposed with pulsing, hypnotic intimacy. And the actors skillfully embody the nuance and tension of the situation.
Overall I found the film resonated with me quite truthfully, showcasing the gay experience in all its beauty and uncertainty, secrecy and liberation, self-loathing and self-discovery.
