While Deklan is traumatized by his past and Brandon has a family to look after, Mia and Roman party before their wedding. Deklan was cheated upon twice when he was overseas and hence does not believe in love. Mia tries her best to get Deklan to come around and attend their wedding, but he remains non-committal and tells Mia that she knows nothing about life.
Human sex traffickers kidnap his brother's fiance Mia (Melissa Bolona), a war veteran Deklan MacGregor (Cole Hauser) teams up with his brothers Brandon MacGregor (Shawn Ashmore) and Roman MacGregor (Ashton Holmes) to rescue her. Jessa MacGregor (Tiffany Brouwer) is Brandon's wife.
Mia is kidnapped when she refutes the advances of sex traffickers Vince (Sean Brosnan) during her hens party. In response, Vince kidnaps her outside the night club, while she was leaving a voice message for Roman from her mobile. Roman & Decklan find out about her abduction through her voice mail and reach a safe house using her phone's GPS location. Decklan calls the police. The brothers find some abducted girls, but no Mia.
At the police station, Decklan meets Avery (Bruce Willis), a cop investigating sex trafficking rings, who soon joins their cause to bring down the organization for good and fighting the corrupted bureaucracy that has harmful intentions. Decklan wants to take matters into his own hands and wants to find Mia as soon as possible. Avery tells Decklan that in the US, even the criminals have rights and that he is better off letting law enforcement to do things their own way. Decklan and his brother confer and decide to go to war against the abductors on their own.
Avery has made slow progress on the sex trafficking case as the department will frequently reassign his resources to more high-profile cases. On his previous missions Avery has frequently found recently abducted girls in bordellos, where they have been repeatedly drugged and sexually assaulted to the extent that they end up dead in a few weeks. Avery works with partner Detective Brooke Baker (Sophia Bush). Avery was unable to save a girl named Samantha who was reported missing by her family and was found dead in a bordello. This gives him added motivation to save Mia.
Through investigation Avery figures out that the hideout Decklan found belonged to and Max Livington (Mike Epps). Avery takes permission from his boss to bring Max in and to shut down his operations. The brothers track out Haley (Jenna B. Kelly), who was with Mia the night she was kidnapped. Haley tells the brother about the organization who kidnap girls from bars, soup kitchens and shelters, how they operate and force girls into the sex business. Haley says that if anyone tried to escape, Max would catch up and set them on fire with lighter fluid. Decklan gets the organization's location from Haley. Meanwhile, Max arrives and is angry at Vince for picking up Mia from a local bar, as that is sure to get the police's attention. Max shoots one of Vince's men as a warning, but he likes Mia and keeps her alive. Max believes that Vince's reckless actions have led to police raids on his hideouts in the past weeks and months. Decklan gives a basic weapons training to Roman.
Decklan & brothers attack Vince, based on Haley's information and capture him after killing a few goons. But the whole operation is captured on CCTV and Max is alerted to a new gang taking out his men. Vince takes them to Mia's location, but Mia has escaped (by scraping her way through the windows), only to be recaptured by Max during her run through a train yard. Brandon is shot in the attack & is taken home, only to realize Max attacked his house & killed Jessa. Avery takes the evidence produced by the brothers to his higher ups but is told that Max is shifting his sex trafficking base to LA from Cleveland. As a result, he has cooperated with FBI and DEA to give up every drug supplier in Cleveland. As such, Avery is ordered to let Max walk and remove all surveillance on him.
Avery is frustrated and allows the brothers 24 hours to bring down Max. With Avery's help the brother's attack Max's location as he prepares to transfer all his girls to LA. They manage to injure Max and kill his goons and escape with the girls. Roman is re-united with Mia. That night Max attacks the brother's house with full force, which results in the death of Brandon. Decklan still manages to save the remaining folks with his counterattack.
The next day, Avery resigns the force citing its inability to bring Max to justice and proceeds to shoot Max before he can leave Cleveland.
