The narration that bookends the film is a nod to Rod Serling's introductions and conclusions on The Twilight Zone (1959-1964), in addition to being inspired by other such anthology shows such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955-1962) and Tales From The Crypt (1989-1996), both of which begin with an introduction to the story.

coldness of truth

The main virtue of this short film it is its old fashion air. For comentary, for beginning, for the story itself . And for the falling head of toy.

A man hearing the conversation between his wife and a stranger. His conclusion - the infidelity of woman is a certitude and he deserves to have the proof about it. So, he use his hobby for have not doubts about her behavior.

The truth is more terrible than he can expect.

So, the result is pure Hitchcock -like last part. The game in skin of dialogue, the feeling than she knows, the decision to be silent and the circle of doubts .

The main virtue - using old recipes of classics, the film propose more than you expect.
