All In (2019) is a movie that I recently watched on Tubi. The storyline follows a single mother who works at a bar and is a scammer making ends meet any way possible. When she's arrested, and in the process she meets someone who actually believes in her, she finds hope to get her life turned around and more stable.
This movie is directed by Ibrahim Yilla (The Great Divide) and stars Lil Mama (Fruits of the Heart), Elise Neal (Logan), Robert Christopher Riley (Professor Mack), Traci Braxton (Chaaw), Lyric Hurd (Roxanne Roxanne), Jim Jones (Righteous Kill) and Lena Anthony (Black in Blue).
This movie is filled with a lot of inconsistency but the plot had potential. I will say the cast delivers uneven performances but Lil Mama did impress me. She was a bit much at times, but her intensity and mindset were well portrayed throughout the film. The child acting was very good and the soundtrack was excellent. The circumstances and various scenarios felt authentic and realistic and the ending was sad. A happy ending never feels likely but the movie does do a good job of creating hope.
Overall, this is a very flawed movie with some redeeming elements. I would score this a 6/10 and recommend seeing it once.
