In the scene where Kitty is sitting at the table in Ricks Cafe a young man introduces himself as Lucas. This is John Meredyth Lucas who had directed 3 episodes of Star Trek the original series. John Meredyth Lucas was the adopted stepson of Michael Curtiz.
