Production was between 1950 and 1952, and they were aired by local stations til about 1954. Snader made exclusive television contracts with the performers, but by 1952 he was failing to meet his obligations and the project ended. Teresa Brewer said she never received a dollar for her appearances. As of 2017 the rights are owned by Historic Films.
Teresa Brewer in 1951 performed six songs: Music Music Music, If You Want Some Lovin', I've Got The Craziest Feeling, Honky Tonkin', I'm The Lonesomest Gal In Town, and Copenhagen. She wore two different dresses. She was aged 19 at that point.
Because of this contract she did not appear elsewhere on TV that year into 1952.
Snader Telescriptions were television's very first music videos, produced from 1950 until 1954. All of the top jazz/ pop/ country stars made these 3 and 4 minute tele-films. There was an entire run of these telescriptions, numbering in the thousands. All were filmed with multi-cameras and live mikes, singing into an Altec-Telefunkin microphone, one of the best ever made. No playbacks or lip-synching.
