Spain’s rich TV show lineup at the Berlin Film Festival also features a screening of Atresmedia’s “Red Flags,” charting the often pained sexual and emotional awakening of four Gen Z teens.

Kanye West only had great things to say about Drake until they started feuding in 2018. Things quickly went south as Ye, who called Drake “the greatest of all time”, accused the Canadian rapper of threatening and bullying him. West was only one of the many rappers who initially loved Drake but went on to turn their backs against him.
Kendrick Lamar and Drake collaborated on several projects before Lamar distanced himself from the rapper in 2013. When he was featured in Future and Metro Boomin’s Like That in 2024, Lamar never thought he would dive into a full diss track back-and-forth with Drake. The Toronto-based rapper responded with Push Ups and Taylor Made Freestyle.

Mike White, the creator of "The White Lotus," has unquestionably helped revitalize or launch the careers of many of the cast members of his hit anthology satire. Jennifer Coolidge had been a sexy, comedic character actor for decades but two seasons (and two Emmys) for her portrayal of socialite Tanya McQuoid showed the world how underutilized she'd been for years. Season 2's Simona Tabasco and Sabrina Impacciatore are now international stars outside of their home country of Italy, and Meghann Fahy has become one of the most in-demand entertainers after her Emmy-nominated performance from the same season.
Season 3 sets the hit anthology series in Thailand (check out my glowing review here), but one of the Thai actors cast on the show is already a massive international star, even if not all Americans are on the up and up. The character of Thidapon Sornsin aka Mook (which means "pearl" in Thai) is played by Lalisa Manoban,...

Vince McMahon will be always be remembered as the man who revolutionized the business of professional wrestling. He gave the world WWE, which has been going strong even in his absence and continues to command power and influence worldwide.
During his years as the WWE Chairman and CEO, fans saw the influx of many talented performers. While some rose to the top of the food chain, others with similar potential fell to the backstage politics and had their careers ruined.

What’s not to like about Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 2?
We had Ellimax two-stepping, Ally Sheedy, and Martin Sheen. Yee-haw on all fronts, including the Ellimax angst that the series delivers.
“Once a Con a Time in the West” is a fun installment and has enough Yellowstone vibes to make a girl smile more than I did watching Yellowstone Season 5, but that’s neither here nor there.
( Justine Yeung/The CW) Wild Cards Channels Yellowstone with a Ranch Rivalry Case
The case is an opportunity to see another side to Cole, who has an endless bag of talents. It’s not something exclusive to Max, which is part of what makes their partnership intriguing.
Cole can ride a horse like a cover model in a romance novel, and I love it. It was endearing as Max was out of her element on the ranch, and she seemed to be afraid of horses.

British TV drama is entering its “austerity” era. That was the startling observation of one seasoned producer, reflecting confidentially on the panic among his peers since the turn of the year. Others have been more specific about a funding crisis that is the talk of Soho.
Peter Kosminsky, the BAFTA-winning director, spoke of Oscar-garlanded Mark Rylance taking a pay cut to get Season 2 of Wolf Hall made — and even then, the Tudor drama was reworked into a “chamber piece” because budgets restricted exterior scenes. Patrick Spence, producer of Mr Bates vs The Post Office, tells us that the series, which feels like a sure bet to bag BAFTAs in May, would “not have been made today.” A24’s adaptation of beloved novel Shuggie Bain for the BBC has been in limbo for nearly three years as the zeitgeisty studio struggles to finance production.

It’s not an easy task to leave Steve Harvey stunned and speechless, but one Family Feud contestant pulled it off.
Steve doubted one contestant’s answers during her family’s Fast Money round, leaving him dead in his tracks.
A player by the name of Liz was chosen as one of two team members from her team, the Colley family, to participate in the coveted Fast Money round.
Liz was the second player to go, meaning she was up against more pressure than her predecessor, Susan.
Liz was given the same five questions as Susan, and in order to score points, could not duplicate any answers, and she had to do it in 25 seconds or less.
The scene was posted on Family Feud’s YouTube channel in a video captioned, “Rip. Liz humiliates Steve Harvey in Fast Money.”

Pink Floyd are in “advanced talks” with Sony Music to sell their back catalog for about $500 million, the Financial Times reports.
According to the Financial Times, the sale would include hits from the past 50 years like “Money,” “Wish You Were Here,” and “Another Brick in the Wall.” However, the report cautions that “there is no guarantee of an agreement this time given the past problems.”
Get David Gilmour Tickets Here
The update comes after David Gilmour recently told Rolling Stone it would be a “dream” to sell Pink Floyd’s catalog and get out of the “mud bath” — likely referencing his contentious relationship with former bandmate Roger Waters. In just one relatively recent example of their decades-long tension, Gilmour described Waters as a “misogynistic, antisemitic, Putin apologist” in 2023.
Pink Floyd began exploring a catalog sale in 2022, but those discussions fell apart due to band in-fighting and Waters’ incendiary comments about Ukraine and Israel.

Even though Deadpool & Wolverine reignited the love that fans had for superheroes, there is no denying that there has been an evident shift in the way Hollywood views the genre. Some of the most respected figures in the industry have been critical of the films that Marvel and DC release, and the points that they raise are not without reason.
Many have started to agree with Martin Scorsese’s famous words, believing that the films have started to feel more like theme-park rides made for the spectacle than something stemming from passion and expression. Recently, Michael Keaton revealed his thoughts on the canceled Batgirl film, and his comments did not help this statement.

It’s hard to believe it took network TV audiences more than a full season to pick up on the burning brilliance of Greg Daniels’ “The Office.”
On March 25, 2005, the pilot episode of a mockumentary series about a paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania debuted to just over 11 million viewers in the United States. The show wasn’t immediately acclaimed, with numerous TV critics arguing the so-called remake failed to adequately justify itself in Season 1.
Yes, the history-making NBC sitcom seemed at first like little more than a bastardization of the popular U.K. series, created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant in 2003. But for audiences lucky enough to binge the show in the streaming age, already knowing what it and its myriad talents (Mindy Kaling! B.J. Novak! Rainn Wilson! John Krasinski!) would become, the lovable goofs of Dunder Mifflin had us at jello.

Mama June Shannon Soon Celebrates 5 Years Sober
The WeTV show revealed that Alana Thompson’s mom, June claimed her daughter wasn’t ready for college. However, it seems that she only said that because the money for college wasn’t in the bank account. When she ran off with Geno Doak on a drug spree, probably, some of it was wasted. Pat Sajak bid farewell to “Wheel of Fortune” on Friday night, but before he left, he had a parting gift for his final contestants on the show: $5,000 extra.
Before the first round of the night properly began, Sajak noted that, as everyone already knew, it was his final show. He added that he had some words he wanted to say before he left, meaning the game would cut one round of play to ensure there was enough time.
However, Sajak noted that “kind of robs you people,” so, to make up for it, he decided to spin the wheel himself and vowed to add an extra $1,000 to whatever he landed on for each contestant. He then proceeded to land on the $1,000 tile, meaning all three would get $2,000.
“You know what? It’s not my money,” Sajak teased. “Let’s give ’em all $5,000 right now. Little Jimmy’s surgery can wait!

How To Get Away With Murder captivates with a murder mystery, morally gray characters, and a large cast with secrets. Similar shows offer clever mysteries, ensemble dynamics, and impactful female leads like Viola Davis. Binge-watchers can enjoy diverse genre offerings like Money Heist, La Mante, and Elite for thrilling storytelling.
From Shonda Rhimes, ABC's How To Get Away With Murder hooked audiences by kicking off with a murder mystery, featuring morally gray characters, and building a large cast of characters full of intersecting secrets, and there are plenty of shows like How To Get Away With Murder that feature many of those traits. Viola Davis led the cast of the series as Annalise Keating, a law professor who becomes embroiled in one cover-up after another with her students. Her presence grounded the show, something the series has in common with other female-led dramas.

Why Fans Think Alana Thompson’s Lying About ‘Missing Money’

"We Are The World" and "Do They Know It's Christmas" were both charity songs in the 1980s that raised millions of dollars for important causes. The supergroup USA For Africa, which recorded "We Are The World," included top artists of the era and raised over $63 million. In the "Futurama" episode "Attack of the Killer App", the Planet Express crew becomes rabidly enamored of a new piece of consumer electronics, the eyePhone, an eyeball-mounted social media browsing widget released by the evil MomCorp. The episode's writer, Patric Verrone, was careful to lampoon the fervor that accompanied Apple's iPhones in real life, pointing out that any scarcity is manufactured, and that consumers tend to be a little too cavalier with the object's inexplicably high price. A store employee tells Fry (Billy West) that the eyePhone costs $500, and also that "you have no choice of carrier, the battery can't hold a charge, and the reception isn't very —" Fry interrupts him by screaming "Shut up and take my money!"

Pedro Alonso, much like Berlin, the character he plays in Money Heist, is distinguished, charming and charismatic. The success of the Netflix crime series has made the Spanish actor a global star and his fame has only gone up since the launch, on Dec. 29, of Money Heist prequel Berlin, in which he reprises his role as the conniving, manipulative thief who is also a hopeless romantic.
Alonso admits to feeling “vertigo” at the level of media exposure that came with the international success of Money Heist but says he doesn’t worry about being typecast in the role. Instead, he sees the chance to return to Berlin in the spin-off series a “vital gift [both] narrative and professional.”
THR Roma spoke to Alonso about why Berlin is as much a romantic comedy as a crime thriller, the “paradox” of its central character, who is both a romantic and “an emotional terrorist...

Berlin, a spinoff and prequel to Money Heist, follows the character's adventures before the events of the original series. The series takes place many years before the heists of Money Heist and explores Berlin's "golden age" before his illness. The timeline of Berlin leaves room for a potential sequel, as it is set four years before the big heist of the Royal Mint of Spain in Money Heist.
Netflix has just premiered Berlin, which is connected with the Money Heist universe, resulting in questions about whether the show is a spinoff or a prequel. The series premiered on Antena 3 in 2017 and was available on Netflix shortly after Money Heist season 1 part 1's finale, with the streaming service acquiring the rights shortly after the end of Part 2. Money Heist was a Spanish crime drama that had the characters orchestrate and commit multiple elaborate heists throughout the show's five seasons. Berlin...

As we welcome in the New Year, we can reveal our annual (non-exhaustive) list of U.S. and international movies we think could grace the festival circuit in 2024. We’ve stuck to our criteria that the project must already be in production and have not already been announced for a festival. More than 70% of our selections last year went on to debut at a major festival. Those that didn’t were largely delayed by the strike or are still in post-production. If the titles below make the cut, it will be a thrilling year on the festival circuit once again.
