Today, nonprofit organization Fuck Cancer announced the star-studded line-up for its first ever Barbara Berlanti Heroes Gala, chaired by Greg Berlanti & Robbie Rogers, which will take place on Saturday, October 13 at Warner Bros. Studios.
Actor, Entrepreneur, Activist, and Fuck Cancer Board Member Stephen Amell will receive the Hero Award for his exceptional work raising funds and awareness for the organization. Fuck Cancer co-founder Yael Braun will receive the Barbara Berlanti Vanguard Award for her ground breaking work engaging influencers and young adults to get educated about the importance of prevention and early detection, while supporting those fighting cancer with innovative and accessible resources. Patrons of the gala will be treated to a very special performance by award-winning, world-renowned recording artists Ariana Grande and Kristin Chenoweth, as well as additional performances by Jeff Garlin and other surprise guests!

Though many of you reading this no doubt lament NBC’s cancellation of Constantine to this day, you have to admit that its early demise certainly opened up a world of possibilities for the character. Had the plug not been pulled, the charismatic demonologist would’ve never been introduced into the Arrowverse, let alone granted a headlining gig in his own animated web series/movie, that being City of Demons.
Much like its predecessor in Vixen: The Movie, this adventure will air in prime time. In fact, you can expect it to debut on Monday, October 15 in the 9 pm Est slot, immediately following the season premiere of Arrow. What’s more is that we’ll get a sneak peek at Legends of Tomorrow‘s fourth season, which’ll kickoff one week later on October 22.
