Normally, when I see a bunch of one-star reviews, I am very skeptical. Same with ten star reviews. To me, no movie is ever THAT good, or THAT bad.
Well, this movie is THAT bad. I thought the story could have been interesting, but it goes nowhere. The acting is not good, but that might, and I repeat might be chalked up to a bad script.
The only reason I gave it three stars is because some of the cinematography is very good, so I have to give credit to the DP. However, these beautiful shots are spoiled because they do nothing to further the story.
I love independent film, but there are plenty of indie films that are just bad, and this is one of them. Normally, I always tell people to watch the film and just judge for themselves but in this case, I have to say that it's just not worth the time. There are plenty of decent indie films to watch.

Quite possible the worst script I have ever witnessed accompanied by some of the worst acting. Of course, the actors did not have much to work with. The story line, a scientific experiment in a rural population through a group of children born simultaneously, is an interesting concept with tons of potential. Some of the cinematography was highly artistic and original; however, it was out of place with the poor script and acting. And some of the camera shots seemed to have no value to furthering the plot or adding to symbolism of the story. Through gritted teeth I finished the film hoping for some redemptive quality that never emerged.

This was a horrible movie, bad acting, bad script, and bad direction. This movie was 1 hour, but they could have cut it down to 30 minutes. A lot of the movie was just filming nothing. Black screen, shots of nothing. Worst hour of my life. Did I mention that it was boring AF. It just ended without explaining anything. I am going to flog myself for an hour, because that would be a lot better than watching this "movie"

I don't know what I just watched. The idea is interesting but the script is terrible and acting not much better - the five all grew up in the same small town and yet half of them have American accents, the other half have UK accents. Not sure what was with the weird shots, they added nothing. Also, what is with the connection to Merseyside and the random sprinkle of YNWA in the opening? Is the director a fan of the location and wanted to reference it or is there meant to be some other meaning. Can not recommend wasting an hour of your time on this.
