The movie was played in Northeast Mountain Film Festival this year and won "Best Film 2019". The audience got very emotional after watching this master piece. The movie is well researched and everyone did a fantastic job in their respective roles. I would totally recommend this movie to my friends and family. Kudos to the whole team!! Excellent job

Justyn Bell takes you deep into the heart of the south and while presenting you with its vast, serene landscapes and gentle charm takes you also deep into the vilest depths of the hatred and ignorance marring its history. Though that hatred and ignorance abound everywhere, Justyn succeeds in capturing the very specific nature and catalysts behind the horror of the Emmett Till massacre and why "tragedy" is too soft a word to describe the case. His cinematography, narration, and dedication to attaining interviews with the most pertinent souls as possible, all come together in way that evokes, informs, and tributes.

This documentary offers a profoundly moving look into the tragic events surrounding the death of Emmett Till. The film's research reveals the injustices of this horrifying event, taking viewers through a detailed timeline that clarifies what happened leading up to Emmett's tragic death. The filmmaker's dedication is clear-not only is the film well-researched, but the filmmaker's immersion into the story, including a journey to Mississippi where the events took place, reflects his passion and commitment to telling Emmett's story. This documentary is both informative and heartbreaking, ensuring that the memory of Emmett Till and the impact of this pivotal moment in history will not be forgotten.
