This short clay animation film is based on the famous Australian poem by A.B. 'Banjo' Paterson and was made after the filmed version's of the poet's "The Man from Snowy River" (The Man from Snowy River (1920) and The Man from Snowy River (1982)) and before the poet's Clancy of the Overflow (2013). Return to Snowy River (1988) was a sequel to the 1982 above-listed film.
