The anonymous filmmakers at Girlfriends Films tried much harder than usual to frame the Sapphic Sex content within interesting story lines in this third volume of a series that deserved to become a staple at the label, like WSW or Lesbian Seductions.
The divine French import Anissa Kate stars in the concluding segment, a very mysterious short story that combines humor, cryptic elements and quality sex by two contrasting femmes. Sheena Ryder does nearly all the talking, as a lady with car trouble, when virtually a mirage of beauty, Anissa, appears wearing a t-shirt and jeans, carrying a wrench to the rescue.
Kate's one-word lines are spare and cleverly inserted into Sheena's endless monolog, and the screen goes white in a fantasy dissolve to the duo suddenly transported from a country road to a couch indoors, both nude and entwined in lesbian sex. It's a memorable vignette, almost haunting in its unreality.
More down to earth is another tale of a female mechanic, this time Dillion Harper pretending to be the girl who can fix poor Zoey Nixon's non-working auto. Both actresses create interesting characters on the spot in an amusing and arousing scene.
Sexiest segment stars tall and lovely Diana Prince as Sovereign Syre's sister-in-law, with Syre butch for a change as, yes another mechanic. Much of the dialog is spent disparaging the husband and brother, whose voice is only heard, but he's not seen so as not to spoil the all-female cast premise. Syre's insults are arresting, but of course the two sparring women soon are humping each other in earnest.
Least successful segment has two actresses named Gia, of differing ethnicity, teaming up to shoot an audition tape for some dumb softcore nudie Car Wash flick, and then humping inside a garage.
At least this particular Girlfriends production is about something, and provides several of the company's best scenes of recent vintage.
