Intro was great. So I think ok here comes a nice comedy special. It was a bit boring to be honest. I stopped it after 20 min.

Boring little wannabe comic. I could not relate to anything he was saying, as it seems one must be familiar with shows on MTV, of all things! The show was rendered even more pathetic by having the underlying story of Mandes going for some sort of humor award. A good show to miss.
So so funny! Love the premise of the award winning special. So genius. I've watched a few times now and it's a blast every time. Love Joe's sense of humor.
The title of this lured me into starting to watch it. Well, that didn't last long. His tone made it like i was like I was watching a lecturer. Definitely not an award winner.

He must be one of those guys that hung out somewhere and all the drunks raved about how "funny" he is....
The quiet guy schtick fails, timing is lethargic and he does most of the laughing at himself.. In the short time I did stay tuned..the audience laughter seemed half hearted.. I felt a lil bad for them...They had to pay to see this, and a laugh would almost feel obligatory..not for this guy..but to ward off that sinking money lost feeling...
I'm going to sit down and watch "That's the Way, A-Ha, A-Ha, Joe Lycett Live (2016)" or "Joe Lycett: I'm About to Lose Control And I Think Joe Lycett Live (2018)"
