When Jessica asks her twin sister Alessandra for help with a blackmailer she gets more than she bargained for.

I am no fan of Jen Lilley&#39;s, but she was good in this movie. I liked her in both roles and she really gave the twins distinct personalities with her acting choices. There were quite a number of the twists that everyone loves so much these days and the acting wasn&#39;t totally atrocious like some of the movies that air on Lifetime.

Boring, slow, mundane, poorly acted. Favorite faux pas was when multiple camera angles were shown for an unmanned sex video.

Was this film for real? Dumb main star and stupid plot. . . . And what&#39;s with that accent by the blackmailer . . .lol The sisters hadn&#39;t seen each other for years and yet they have the exact same hair length . . .is that a twin thing (daft) Only good thing was Yasmine Aker and her attributes. Awful

Only saw last half of the movie. The BOTOX / NO BOTOX camera &amp; makeup were totally obvious.

It&#39;s a slow start to this one, but once things pick up it&#39;s a fun watch. Evil twin frames good twin for Daddy&#39;s murder so she can get her grubby hands on her 10 million dollar inheritance since Daddy already knew what an evil witch she was and disinherited her. There are a couple of nice surprises I didn&#39;t see coming and as another reviewer notes, the photography of the dual roles of the twins was pretty good. There&#39;s another reviewer here wondering how both twins just happen to have the same hair length after not seeing each other for years....but that was all part of the bad twin&#39;s set up of the good twin...she obviously had her hair cut and styled exactly like her sister&#39;s in order for her plan to work. I think the bad twin overacted her part just a little too much with the way she spoke, but that&#39;s a minor nitpick. The ending was satisfying and fun. Recommended....just have to get through the slow beginning to get to the fun.

&quot;Twin Betrayal&quot; was striking in the high-caliber photographic work for the twins (Alessandra and Jessica) performed by one actress with the characters frequently appearing alongside each other in scenes. The trick photography is essential in establishing the cat-and-mouse game at work between the twins. The one twin, Jessica (&quot;Jess&quot;) was passive and conventional and is now fighting for custody of her son Danny. The other twin, Alessandra (&quot;Allie&quot;) was pugnacious and devious. The war of wills is at the heart of a murder case when the twins&#39; miserly father Everitt leaves an estate of $10 million to Jess, cutting Allie out of the will. While it is clear that Jess is being skillfully framed for the dad&#39;s murder by Allie, it is unclear who is her confederate. The character of Harry Morgan is an unemployed actor with a criminal record, and he is in league with both of the women. One of the best lines of the film comes after a tryst with Jess and Harry at the Luxury Suites hotel in Dallas. In the morning, Harry blackmails Jess at the behest of Allie, and Jess opines, &quot;What happened to your Southern accent?&quot; While Harry is a good actor, he drops out of the film in the most untimely fashion when he too is murdered. This leaves the audience guessing as to who could be in league with Allie. There is her bestie Maddie Watkins. But another suspect is Lars Klint, the attorney whom Jess is in the process of divorcing. The actress playing the twins was terrific in developing two distinct characterizations, especially when Jess and Allie appeared together at the key junctures of the film. The excellent performance combined with the slick camera work and the snappy dialogue to showcase both how similar and how different identical twins may be.

Jen Lilley plays dual roles pretty well, although it is kind of amusing that they Allie and Jess were estranged and yet colored and styled their hair exactly the same. I realize for the movie to work they had to be identical, but it was just a very specific color and cut lol. Particularly when compared to Lifetime&#39;s other twin movies. I don&#39;t know if it was intentional, but this movie never seemed that urgent. Sure one of the twins ends up in jail but I was just never on the edge of my seat thinking that the jailed twin was running out of time and options. There were a couple of jump scares, but nothing terrifying. The movie has a few twists and without giving spoilers, I would have been pissed off if they tried to make it seem like the wrong twin didn&#39;t get justice. That would have really made me mad. I also found it strange but obviously necessary for us to only see the little son at the beginning and end. He would have surely known his mother so even though her motivations were about him, he was hardly in this movie. I&#39;m glad the best friend survives AND wasn&#39;t part of the conspiracy. That would have been too cliche.

Didn&#39;t know the movie at all or what it&#39;s about. But I was in for a treat. I love plot twists and this had several. Sure, there were some flaws, but even big blockbusters have those and sometimes even ridiculous ones. Like the constant chewing on the pen. Did Maria get an extra cut on top of the 10K or is she also going to jail for blackmailing. Or the camera&#39;s in the hats. Why would Allie need Jess to tell her everything, when it&#39;s all recorded? I didn&#39;t get that. It would&#39;ve made a little more sense to me, that Allie found the torn note from the sheriff, that Jess had thrown away after arriving at Allie&#39;s place.

I am a huge fan of Jen Lilley and absolutely love everything she does! I follow her work and have seen just about every film she&#39;s come out on. I especially love the hallmark movies. She&#39;s so beautiful, and overall carries herself very graceful and effortless. Can&#39;t wait to see more of her films. This is the first time I&#39;ve seen her play a different role, an arrogant, presumptuous character. Which was interesting to watch. She definitely did a great job. I&#39;m sure it&#39;s difficult to transition back and forth from the &quot;good&quot; protagonist to the &quot;bad&quot; antagonist. Overall I would grade this a perfect 10.
