OPIA is a surreal exploration of the internal landscapes causing suicide clusters on college campuses--executed in memoriam by a crew of young artists who have each lost loved ones themselves.

Unnerved by the serene silence saturating their campus after the consecutive suicides of several classmates, Celia and J struggle to navigate the border separating the living from the dead in the high desert of Northern New Mexico. But the more distance they attempt to put between themselves and the college's oppressive hush, the deeper the surreal landscape leads them into the areas of their own subconscious they most desperately want to avoid.
