Jay: I did appreciate the very end of the movie we did not have... our characters walk off into the sunset, everything is quiet, and then... PENNYWISE JUMPS OUT OF THE SCREEN! Cut to credits! They didn't do that! I was so shocked. That was the only shocking thing in the movie.
Mike: "Down with the sickness"!
[Pennywise appears then cut to credits as "Down with the sickness" plays]
Jay: I was waiting for Baghoul to pop out of the screen and they didn't do it, so kudos to them for that.
Mike: Yeah, it just kind of ended.
Jay: It's the only moment of restraint in the entire fucking movie.
Mike: Maybe... you know what, we didn't stay for the post-credits, so...
Jay: Ohhh, you think they had a Marvel-esque post credits sequence setting up the sequel...
Mike: Possibly. Like just a shot of the sewer... or the well...
Jay: Oh yeah...
[mimics a hand emerging from a well]
Mike: Something like that. Or just the eyes light up...
Jay: As long as you don't do it before the end credits start... yeah.
Mike: Movie proper was over, we left the fucking theater... we didn't see stupid shit. If you finished the movie and stayed past the end credits, tell us if there was stupid shit.
