A sketch about rules in a supermarket. The manager imposed to semployees to destroy the expired food to prevent the consume of it by poor people . One of sellers objects. His colegue shows his solidarity and support and offers a solution for limit date products.
But something, real significant for him change the good intention to be fact.
A very simple, realistic story, beautiful performed.
A moral dillema for a vulnerable man.
And a radical solution, pragmatic, desperate and easy to define as answer to the pressure from system. Nothing new but Martin Goossens offers just a profound inspired portrait of Stephane. And, yes, for viewer is more than simple to identify himself with the character.

If you have seen DISCOUNT, back in 2015, you will find here the same atmosphere, a supermarket topic, about management, employees, focusing here on the fact that the directors of the store ask the employees to destroy the over the limit date food, only to prevent poor people to pick this food up from the garbage. This is a social story, that Ken Loach would have liked, and probably have already told about. Or will, who knows? You may expect something else, with a different ending than this one. It begins with a sequence between a young woman and a new employee, you may expect something with both of them later, and nothing happens.... Interesting.
