In early 2018, Writer/Director Kris Krainock traveled to the U.K. to meet with Christiane Kubrick, widow of Stanley Kubrick, at their home to discuss her involvement with the film. After the meeting, which was also attended by the producer Jan Harlan, Christiane donated her original paintings to be featured prominently in Madame X. Many of these paintings were also featured in Stanley's iconic films.
