"The Kids Are Alright" was a working title for the sitcom "That 70's Show" (1998-2006). The title references a song by The Who.
Show creator Tim Doyle also did the V.O. narration, effectively telling his own story. This idea of a writer narrating and commenting upon his own story was inspired by the way author Jean Shepherd narrated the film "A Christmas Story" and Woody Allen's narration for "Radio Days." Tim Doyle, like his on-screen alter ego "Timmy," has a background in acting which made this possible.
