On Tuesday September 21, 2016, Film Banter was broadcast live for the first time at 7:30 pm from the living room of co-host Daryl K. Smith via a new streaming platform called "Bidchat" (which eventually would become "Meet and Greet Live"). The platform allowed its talent/personalities the opportunity to have an interactive audience during each live broadcast. Each week's show was also filmed and uploaded to the Film Banter YouTube page to further expand its reach and to serve as an additional archive, given that Bidchat/Meet and Greet Live was plagued with many technical problems and glitches from the start. In the winter of 2018, the show migrated away from the platform and found a new home at the "Be Terrific!!" studios in Secaucus, NJ, which also allowed the program to be seen on Twitch (where Be Terrific has a strong following). The show was streamed/filmed live in the studio for close to eight months, but unfortunately due to a vast restructuring/re-branding at "Be Terriffic!!", Film Banter returned to its humble roots in Daryl's living room, which always provided a welcomed "public access look" that has served the show well from its inception.
