Kim Raver voices Carol Danvers, who took her superhero name from the Kree Captain Mar-Vell. In the comics, Mar-Vell's son and Young Avenger, Hulkling, carries the name Teddy Altman as an homage to Raver's Grey's Anatomy (2005) character from Allan Heinberg, who worked on both Grey's Anatomy and the Young Avengers.
