I haven't seen the original, because i didn't knew that Doktor Richter is based on the American Doctor House. I watched it in russian (original, no subtitels) and enjoyed it! That's all i can say. The humor was good. The ending blowed my mind away. I liked the characters, even tho they eere suppossed to be "unlikable" characters, but that's just a Fassade. Beneath the "i'm angry, don't you talk to me" behaviour is a man who is just as human as anyone else. I'll consided watching the original tho! But itxs just too many episodes..

House M.D. is 1/3 drama and 2/3 comedy with mostly likable characters. Russian remake is 2/3 drama and 1/3 comedy with mostly unlikable characters. This difference alone makes it a pretty interesting and a very different series.
Lots of Russian fans of the original House complain that the hospital looks fake because nobody ever seen such modern hospitals in Russia. Well, most (if not all) of these whiners haven't visited any US hospital at all, yet somehow they managed to enjoy the original series even with "fake" voice-over translation.
The remake has some flaws, but nothing major: questionable plot adaptation here and there, cheap visual effects, mediocre soundtrack (the intro theme is brilliant though). All in all, I'd say 7.5 +/-0.5 would be fair score. Currently it is 3.1, perhaps thanks to immature Hugh Laurie groupies. The hell with them.
