The least profitable Telugu film of 2025 is currently Subham, which churned out a profit of only 13% at the box office. Mounted on a budget of 6 crore, it earned 6.78 crore at the box office. This is followed by Hit 3 which is the second least profitable film of 2025, despite having a great run. Nani’s action thriller churned out only 15.7% profit against a budget of 70 crore.

Dhanush’s last theatrical release was Raayan, which started its day 1 with an occupancy of 48% in the morning shows, followed by 50% occupancy in the afternoon shows. With the two shifts, the occupancy of the film was 49.6% on average.

On the opening day, Kuberaa registered an occupancy of 38% in the morning shows, followed by 54.5% in the afternoon shows, with an overall occupancy of 46.7% by 4 Pm. The crime drama is trending along similar lines to Raayan!

Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham's fourth movie together is heading to Hulu. Wrath of Man is set to join the Disney-owned streaming service in July.

Beginning July 1, Wrath of Man will be available to stream on Hulu. Directed by Ritchie from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies, the 2021 action thriller — a loose remake of the 2004 French film Cash Truck — follows H (Statham), a new cash truck driver in Los Angeles whose thwarting of a robbery leads to his skillset with guns and mysterious past being questioned. Holt McCallany (The Iron Claw), Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice), Josh Hartnett (Trap), Laz Alonso (The Boys), and Scott Eastwood (Suicide Squad) are among the actors who round out the movie's ensemble.

Moviegoers were clearly excited to see Ritchie and Statham's first collaboration in over a decade, as Wrath of Man was a major box office hit, grossing $104 million worldwide against a $40 million budget.

Exclusive: The Worst Man, an action comedy spec from Matt Altman (Red Widow) and Dave Matalon (Totally Killer), has landed at Universal Pictures, with 87North set to produce.

Plot details are under wraps. This marks the second spec sale in less than a year for Altman and Matalon, who set up the action comedy Three Hitmen and a Baby at Lionsgate, as we were first to tell you. 87North, the company behind actioners like The Fall Guy, Bullet Train, Nobody and Violent Night, is also aboard to produce that one.

Kelly McCormick and David Leitch will produce The Worst Man through 87North’s first-look deal with Universal Pictures, whose Director of Development Tony Ducret will oversee the project, along with Max Jacoby for 87North.

Prior to Three Hitmen and a Baby, Altman and Matalon sold sci-fi action film Level Up to Hideaway Entertainment, with Vandal Entertainment coming aboard to produce.

Netflix’s long-awaited adaptation of the beloved video game series Splinter Cell has now debuted footage for fans – and the reception has been glowing. Splinter Cell: Deathwatch is an animated adaptation of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, and has been developed by Ubisoft Film & Television and animation studios Sun Creature and Fost. Bob Odenkirk will once again be taking zero prisoners in Nobody 2. The sequel to the 2021 breakout hit action film will be fighting its way into theaters in August. Now, before the body count ramps back up, Universal will be releasing a new 4K edition of the first film.

This latest Nobody physical media version will be a stylish 4K/Blu-ray/Digital combo pack steelbook. It features Odenkirk’s Hutch, who's a little worse for wear, front and center. Review: Ballerina is one of the more satisfying franchise spin-offs in recent memory. In this era of IP, every studio is desperate to max out the potential sequels and spinoffs their key franchises can handle, and Lionsgate has a whole slew planned around the John Wick franchise. Yet, what makes Ballerina different is that this doesn’t feel like much of a derivative of the franchise, given that Keanu Reeves was coaxed back to reprise his role. While his contribution to the film is mainly limited to the last act, his involvement is far more than a cameo, with him having a legitimate supporting role, giving the movie a welcome sense of legitimacy.

The movie takes place between the third and fourth John Wick movies.

Remember those good old buddy action comedies from the 90s? So do we. Bad Boys, Rush Hour, and The Last Boy Scout are just a few that fill us with a deep sense of nostalgia, and from the looks of it, director Ilya Naishuller is a fan as well, based on the trailer for Prime Video's new action comedy, Heads of State. Starring John Cena and Idris Elba, the film follows two world leaders who must set aside their rivalry to thwart a global conspiracy and save the world — if they can work together. If that doesn't scream "buddy action comedy," we don't know what does.

Filled with explosions, comedy, and an epic voice over, the Heads of State trailer (seen below) showcases what we can expect next month when the film hits Prime Video on July 2. “John Wick” came out of nowhere to become the most influential action movie of the 2010s, changing Hollywood’s approach to stunt work. After audiences had grown tired of the relentless use of CGI within larger blockbusters, “John Wick” provided an opportunity for stunt performers to show the merits of practicality. Although he had faced a period of critical decline in the aftermath of “The Matrix” sequels, Keanu Reeves returned with a vengeance to deliver one of the defining performances of his career. The now-infamous line of “I’m thinking I’m back” feels like a not-so-subtle reference to his own trajectory as a movie star.

“John Wick” has spawned many imitators, as the notion of a ruthless, darkly comedic revenge thriller has taken hold of Hollywood; films such as “Nobody,” “Atomic Blonde,” “The Beekeeper,” and “Monkey Man” certainly wouldn’t have existed without the groundwork that “John Wick” established.

Nobody Wants This is a show we did want. The Netflix series was a top 10 show in 89 countries, and spent six weeks in Netflix's global English top 10. 57 million views later, after the series was released last September tell us the title of the series is quite ironic.

If you have not yet dived into the show, the plot follows an agnostic podcast host (Joanne) who meets a rabbi (Noah) and the two begin a relationship. While the personal views cause them to naturally disagree about some things, their families are not overly helpful either.

The families don't always intentionally cause problems, but they tend to anyway. The show is a romantic comedy after all, so pratfalls will be had and had often.

Jason Statham’s new movie has officially concluded its theatrical run, but another of his more recent flicks has surged to streaming success over the weekend. Statham stars alongside Megan Fox and Sylvester Stallone in Expend4bles, the 2023 action thriller that concluded the Expendables franchise. Expend4bles has been streaming on Starz for more than a year now, and it even spent more than 200 days atop streaming charts before exiting the top 10 earlier this year. However, the recent release of A Working Man has fans rushing to check out Statham’s filmography, which has propelled the film back into the Starz top 10. Expend4bles was panned by critics upon release, leading to it earning a 14% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, but the audience-driven Popcornmeter sits at a much more respectable 69%.

Universal Pictures has released the first official trailer for Nobody 2, giving us our first look at the return of assassin-turned-family man Hutch Mansell (Bob Odenkirk) taking his wife and kids on a stressfree vacation, which, of course, doesn't go according to plan.

Bob Odenkirk's Hutch Mansell might be "out of office" in Nobody 2, but it doesn't sound like he will be going out of action anytime soon. Kelly McCormick, one of the producers of the forthcoming film, has teased a possible franchise expansion in the future, suggesting there is "more to tell" when it comes to Hutch — the main protagonist in the 2021 action-thriller Nobody, and its summer sequel, which is scheduled to hit theaters in August, picking up four years after the bone-crushing character inadvertently took on the Russian mob.

In a recent interview with The Au Review alongside Nobody 2 director Timo Tjahjanto, McCormick indicated they are always considering the bigger picture when it comes to the action franchise and, while the sequel hasn't debuted yet, the second film was set up in a way that would allow them to expand the story, if the next entry proves successful.

Bob Odenkirk is back at the unlikely assassin, and this time he’s on holiday. The Nobody 2 trailer has just landed.

‘National Lampoons European Vacation meets John Wick’ is how we imagine the team behind Nobody pitched a sequel to the 2021 action flick to Universal. It’s a solid pitch, not least because many love National Lampoons European Vacation. And also because we secretly believe that John Wick is name-checked in every Hollywood meeting these days.

Whichever approach the team behind Nobody took, the pitch worked. Although honestly, the 2021 original pretty much spoke for itself when it comes to the desire for a sequel. Odenkirk made for a fun central character and the action sequences were great. Plus, Christopher Lloyd got some decent screentime too, so there was plenty to enjoy.

This time around, the follow-up is going down the classic sequel formula of transplanting the action somewhere exotic – kind of.

Season 2 of Netflix’s Nobody Wants This has wrapped filming, and the confirmation came alongside exciting behind-the-scenes photos. Heartthrob actors Kristen Bell and Adrian Brody made a comeback last year with the release of Nobody Wants This, a great Netflix romantic comedy about a Rabbi named Noah and an atheist sex podcaster named Joanne falling in love. The show quickly became a fan favorite, and Netflix, unsurprisingly, picked up Nobody Wants This season 2.

News has slowly trickled out about the second season, and luckily it seems that audiences won’t have to wait too much longer. Jackie Tohn, who plays Esther in the cast of Nobody Wants This, confirmed on May 13, 2025, that filming had wrapped for season 2.

Odenkirk once again stars as Hutch Mansell, a suburban everyman whose hidden assassin skills kicked into gear following a home invasion. Connie Nielsen reprises her character Becca Mansell, Hutch’s wife. Sharon Stone also stars in the film, along with Christopher Lloyd, RZA and Colin Hanks.

“Nobody 2” was directed by Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto, who helmed “The Night Comes for Us” and “May the Devil Take You.” The screenplay is written by Derek Kolstad, who wrote the first film, along with Odenkirk, Aaron Rabin and Umair Aleem. Odenkirk produced the film with Marc Provissiero via Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment.
