The lives of a disparate group of people intersect to share an experience. This documentary explores the concept of story: how documentaries, especially in post production, often construct a story and manipulate audience perspective, just as we are also guilty of constructing our own stories of self - what the meaning is, is what we put to it and changes over time. By mashing together four unrelated interviews, a narrative is initially formed and later expanded, inviting the audience to enter into this larger conversation. Our presence, our awareness of all forms of manipulation, exterior and interior, will determine our experience. Can one truly be honest while comprehending and experiencing life as we ourselves perceive it, let alone, when we manufacture a documentary?
