I for the most part enjoyed this game. The art style and gameplay is definitely Yoshi, but made me feel like I was playing a Little big planet game in many ways.
if I had to choose between this Yoshi game in the previous Yoshi's Woolly World for the Wii U I believe Yoshi's woolly world was much more fun.
