There are combat and military strategy accuracies according, but not limited, to the following 15th century chronicle sources: the French Chronique du Religieux de Saint-Denis and The Chronicles of Enguerrand de Monstrelet and the English Chronicle of John Strecche for the Reign of Henry V and The Chronica Maiora of Thomas Walsingham.

The English army did, for the most part, fight without armour. They also did march first, and initiate the battle with the longbow archers, who instigated chaos and disruption among the more numerous French forces. Furthermore, King Henry V did lead the infantry charge into the battle and fight vigorously, sustaining rough battle impacts. Finally, upon the end of the battle, and with victory in sight, King Henry V did order the execution of all French prisoners.
