Expectations about this movie was really low for me because i wasn't impressed by Anoop Menon in his earlier movies, but this one was a really good movie which made me appreciate him and the director Sooraj Thomas which is by the way his second movie only.
This movie is romantic drama which has really nice visuals and background score, story of the movie is simple but an engaging one. When it comes to the performance of the actors everyone performed well especially Mia George was really good, her appearance was also a treat to the eyes.
Last word :- If you want to watch a nice romantic feel good movie, it's a really nice choice to see along with the whole family. My rating : 3.5 out of 5

When i break it apart the movie seems to be the same old story but somehow it manages to keep you glued to the screen.
They have intelligently added many puns in the story about religion and politics that we rarely see in movies such as this one.
Overall very good movie

If the primary characters in Sooraj Thomas's mature romantic drama Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal (My Candlelight Dinners) would have just spoken to each other about their actions before doing them, the film would have been a lot better with a more gullible climax. Right now, it just hinges on its two lead actors (Mia and Anoop Menon), their honest characters, and their amusing chemistry to look like a feel-good romantic film. Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal is likable because it manages to burst balls of sweetness inside your mouth through this chemistry as well as the dialogues between the characters. There's a scene somewhere in the middle where Baiju's character is feeding some wisdom about love to his friend. And that is when his wife asks him why he could not use the same wisdom between them. It's a great ode to honest romance without resorting to vulgarity, and that is the only reason why it is one of the better films of 2018. Watch it with your partner and you will take away a thing or two from this well-written romantic drama that just melts in your mouth except for the immature, nonsensical climax. TN.
Worth to watch if you are fond of emotional love stories, plot is not a new one but the technical aspects of the movie wins over the loose plot...wonderful cinematography..pleasant music..location adds spice to the story line...watch with your partner..it's worthful

A beautiful attempt by Anoop Menon, to bring back the nostalgia of 80's Malayalam romantic drama storyline, in a manner, acceptable to the new generation. It is quite evident from the storyline that, Anoop Menon is still mesmerized by the Malayalam hit "Manjil Virinja Pookkal". Nevertheless, the movie is a onetime watch to see a perfect synchronization of story, music and photography.
