If you saw " Kattapanele Hritik Roshan" and liked it, let me warn you this is not anything like that. The story feels like it's been written over a fortnight and the dialogs are quite lame, except for a few laughs here and there, you will struggle to stop frowning ... If you see this review before you watch the movie here's my advice - " Go home ! "
But all that said the lead actor has put in some effort to overcome his disability during the action sequences. Respect for that.

Without actor Hareesh.i think the movie would have been a big zero.Just one good song by vineeth is to be told.Rest the story line..direction..is totally out of track i feel.Comedy has just not worked in this film.A suspense too tht the crew tried to create also has failed i guess.I wished Bibin George had a better opening..

Shafi's Oru Pazhaya Bomb Kadha (An Old Bomb Story) is the run-of-the-mill crime comedy containing random good-quality jokes Hareesh Perumanna and a cliched plotline about a specially-abled person (Bibin George) and his encounter with romance and vengeance. There is not much to appreciate here except some good comic writing and Perumanna's decent delivery of those written jokes. It also has Kalabhavan Shajon as this typecast policeman which makes the plot even more ridiculous. Everything else is a rehash of Shafi's previous filmography. Oru Pazhaya Bomb Kadha is not worth a watch other than when it premieres on TV during a festival. It is about time that filmmakers such as Shafi realize that the discerning audience will not bear with such trash comedies. TN.
The name of the movie plus the star cast made it sound like a half baked movie. But coming from Shafi and having Hareesh Kanaran made me go to theatre.
A simple story of a differently abled guy and his side kick is the theme. The hero(Bibin George) works as a mechanic and has a disease ridden father and sister to take care. Hareesh is his best friend who likes to drink a 90ml shot everyday. Like in many Malayalam movies, the hero falls in love with a girl. The story then revolves around how he breaks ice with girl while facing his other problems.
Shajon plays the role of a brutal police officer and does it well. Bibin George has done a decent job as a hero, but the movie clearly shows his drawbacks. Hareesh makes the movie watchable with his wonderfully timed comedy. He has a long role in this one and clearly does well. Prayaga Martins role is rather small and insignificant. Indrans as father of hero plays a nice cameo. Vishnu Unnikrishnan also has a small role to play.
A good watch and a sleeper hit.
