The show lost its creative force and creator, Jivka Gicheva (1957-2009), just a month before the first episode aired. Tragically, she passed away in a car accident and was unable to witness the launch of the TV series she had spent almost three years developing the concept for, pitching it to broadcasters, and bringing the team together for. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed. RIP.
