Liked the movie. Jeeva and all the cast selection were good. Photography and the pace also was good.

However I was disappointed with the music in the movie. The premise was so good for a musical. Wasted opportunity and couldn't believe it was Santhosh Naraynan who was the music director.

Movie starts with a scene in North India, which sets the tone for the movie and what to expect. First half was very slow and picks up pace during the middle of the movie, but what followed was a disastrous screenplay with lots of violent and vulgar scenes, which could have been better handled. Biggest plus of this movie was Cinematography, which shows the beauty of the locations, wherein the movie has been shot! Expected a lot better one from very talented and social minded storyteller like director Raju Murugan!

Gypsy is not a regular kind of film. Its something different. Director takes up the story of love mixed with religious rights. The plot is good but execution is Bad. Post interval sequences are too good. But climax is a big letdown. Songs are okay. Locations are too good especially in second hour. Screenplay is lagging. Film needs to be trimmed. I read somewhere there r others sequences where they censored some important scenes. Gives us feeling like we Missed something from original copy. Watch it !

The film travels in various places of India.ot gives a good romantic view as well as the political view.one of the best film in recent times.

It has few good scenes and then it goes out of place. Weak female charecter also the story is based on the female lead which hampers the movie A good message but dragged too much.not worth the time felt disappointed after the movie.

Really very good movie.... don't believe negative reviews... and am not Paisa vasool reviewer...see my profile am doing good review appreciate every good movies... have lots of expectation in this movie really full fill those expectation...it's not about the religions it's about the humanity... movie is too slow but some movies want that...if you like commercial mass movies sorry guys this is not for you..if you love calm quite feel good movies this is for you...

Worst screen play, bits and pieces scenes. Pointing only one religion.

This movie is a mirror to the contemporary issues. A must watch and this movie is not screaming the issues but putting forth the aftermath of the horrific incidents which doesn't benefit the foreground players but is beneficial for the background masterminds.

Best movie of the year. Story narration and Jeeva performance was good

Good things: The love between 2 people with different castes & even society levels. Our protagonist takes us on a national tour showing us almost all the major places in India Music/Songs elevated some scenes

Bad/Improvable things: No good/stronger plot with an end goal, the film wanders aimlessly and touches several pain points of the society/culture/nation in general No proper screenplay just because of the aimless plot Not so engaging BGM, Santhosh Narayanan shouting in the background throughout the movie was irritating a bit.

Even though there are lot of censor cuts clearly seen in this movie , Gypsy conveyed the strong message about Humanity and Peace beautifully through power packed performances of Jiiva and Natasha Singh

It's World Class Cinema and the balance in the movie is just upright and showing out the evils in the society job well done.

Gypsy holds up our emotion till the climax. Superb storyline which is made to expose what happen and how a life of a young man change after the incident. This movie should be celebrated well and the message should be practiced by each and everyone of us. Jiiva's One of the Career best movie. Each and every character justify their role very well. Songs by Santhosh Narayanan is 100% perfect. A movie which might be not noticed now but will be celebrated in future. Kudos to the Director to come up with such a bold storyline.

Movie is about the politics in daily life about peace, love, politics, humanity, peace, religion. Explained beautifully with che ( horse) and Gypsy (Jiiva).

Jeeva definitely had his best movie and best performance after a long time. Santhosh Narayanan once again elevated the emotions with great songs and a beautiful bgm.

Btw it is a bold attempt once again from Raju Murugan.. Keep going.

Gypsy Conveyed Strong Message About Humanity & Peace Beautifully Through Power Packed Performances of Jiiva & Natasha Singh

Gypsy is a thought provoking film. Every shot has a hidden meaning behind it. There is no wastage of cast or something called as an extra scene. This film cannot be put under one genre, it has got mixed factors like love, betrayal, politics, humanity, inhuman nature, and so on. Every factor contributes it's level best to entertain and to make us think and re think. Jeeva has once again proven himself a versatile actor. The female lead has grabbed the show with her expressions. Costumes of the heroine in the first part was so fascinating, no big drama - no fashionable clothing, simple yet elegant. Every actor in the film played their roles so nicely. Music was exorbitant. Lighting especially from half of 1st part till the end of the film was very Appreciatable. Cinematography was commendable. Audience are sure to get goosebumps multiple times. Intermission shot was something which can never be forgotten and can never move away from anyone's eyes. On the whole, a must watch thought provoking film. Kuddos to the entire team of gypsy.

Looking forward to be exposed to more films of this kind

💯 Can give Oscar to jeeva's costume designer. Splendiferous costumes and all his accessories admired me. Jeeva traveling around India and appears in that land dependent costumes.. in one word a humidity *pullingo* film .😍

Yup... we lost our Humanity in form of religion, caste and many other variations... We are the key toys for the politicians.. wake up india... India is incredible only because of the unity... India should and always be in Tricolor...

This film gives a such a great feeling, worth watching.

This mvoie Really shows the importance of education. Even a gypsy who is well educated he can make some changes in india. It shows what is the Indian politics. How every Political party uses the uneducated people. Many movies are made in each languages regarding Secularism and true politics of india. But this movie showed the Real Indian politics from its core
