Movie is enjoyable and recommend to watch with friends or family. The most fascinating thing was attention to detail of the surroundings. It was great to see Sri Lankan landscapes recreated in a 3D movie and production crew has done it greatly. There were many good 3D elements, but not the best 3D experience.

Dubbing of main characters is well done. But some side character's voice were not authentic. Sound design and musics were really good.

Had many good jokes throughout the movie but some were childish and I noticed some repeated jokes. Plot was somewhat ok, but I think they could have done better.

Finally I have to say 10/10 ratings are overrated and in my pov by doing so they are not helping the SL movie industry. There are many things to improve and I'm sure they will do good in next movie.

Its a Great Sinhala Comedy Movie with Amazing Dubbing and also Great Music , 3d Animations was very good for the First attempt , Must say the Dubbing Cast and the Direction is Top Notch, its not a Surprise that the best Artists in SL were Involve this .

Please try to Watch it from a 3d Theater Because only from that you can get the Complete Experience , Don't think Twice Every Sri Lankan Must Watch this for Sinhala Cinema hope the Future Gen Will be Motivated to do more animation movies with Good Stories the Stage is set now. This is first 3D film on srilankan cinema history . Really didnt expected this movie. Graphics quality was awesome and story line was very funny . And characters are very smooth. Its become a era on sri lankan film industry.im hope next film was become more than good film.

Camillus Perera's 'Gajaman' newspaper strip was an extremely popular and effective cartoon in the 1970's. Along with other famous characters created by the renowned writer Studio 101 in Sri Lanka, brings to you the first 3D animated movie in the near future. Im really happy to watch that film. You can get better movie experience watch this film on 3D cinema.

So glad to be one of the very few who had the chance to witness the movie before the official release... wow it was some great comedy. Awesome animation work done to create the unique sri lankan landscapes and characters, the comedy was exquisite, unique and out of this world. There was never a dull moment throughout.

I think this has the potential to go so far and break few lankan movie selling records as well. And, pave the way for many future sri lankan artists to break the boundaries and be more creative to do better things, rather than doing the same old style movies and repeat the same jokes over and over again or just simply making an indian carbon copy.

And mark my words,, when that happens "Chanaka Perera" is going to be a name to remember.. cheers brother!!! Its your time to shine.. Re5pect.

First of all CONGRATULATIONS & THANK YOU for the CAST & CREW behind the GAJAMAN 3D. You guys are just AMAZING!!!

I'm not a movie guy, that goes to movie theater and watch movies. I always preferred to wait till the Web or Blu-ray release. But for the first time in my life, I had to make an exception for this movie "GAJAMAN 3D". And it was well spent 100 Minutes of my life.

This is the first time we are experiencing a SRI LANKAN made 3D Animated movie that created using motion capture. It is a simple yet wholesome and well executed beautiful 3D animation movie fully packed with humor and comedy. 90% of the lines in this script can make you smile and more than 50% will definitely make you burst out laughing. Highly recommend and must watch movie for any Sri Lankan in my opinion.

And I should mention the plot twist in the last scene. It is definitely a romance movie 🙃😂

Lastly, I went to the theater by myself without any friends or family, Don't do the same mistake that I did. At least bring someone else with you because I can guarantee, GAJAMAN 3D is more enjoyable with friends and family.

3D characters, Landscapes, Animations, rigging everything is great. In the end, I have to say that this is a great design that should go all over the world.

I watched this movie twice. This is gonna be a big s step from sri lankan film industry. This movie is fantastic. I really enjoyed with it. Thanks to be gajaman movie crew member. This movie is gonna be a crazy..While watching this film, I could not imagine that this is a Sri Lankan film. This film proves that Sri Lanka has not taken a step but a giant step away from traditional film making.

This film is visually stunning. It simply has to be seen on the best on sri lankan cinema.biggest win of startin first 3d. That's the best way to enjoy this film just let it consume you. The story is one that most people can get behind and it's enhanced by the visual storytelling on screen. I haven't looked at the film in detail because so much happened and it was so visually engulfing. I'm not saying the story is perfect but the 1 hour+ runtime helped flesh out all of the characters and give the story depth and weight that you only really get with TV series theses days.thank to everyone in behind of this awesome work.

Just beacause it's the first one doesn't mean it's the best. Over excited easily pleased toxic fanbase has put this boring mobie to top ratings. The effort should be appreciated but it's not early 90s anymore. World cinema,animation movies have evolved so much but they could have just come up with a better story. They have sold this garbage through a false hype. The jokes are almost decade old and laughter is overdue. IF they make another sequel for this they better come up with better story and charcter development. Overall movie is watchable(barely) but this hype is misleading cashgrab. Sri Lankan people should learn to recognize what's good and what's bad in cinema.

This is a wonderful animation film that definitely surprised me! Expecting it to be another average animation film, I was delighted to find it was not quite so. First of all, the animation is extremely well done which makes the movie enjoyable to watch. The amount of details is astonishing and watching it twice was not a punishment for me. The plot is also surprisingly well thought-of, being funny yet dramatic and it keeps you on your seat while also making you laugh multiple times. It really does feel like everything took years to develop as the environment is complex and believable and the characters resemble their real-life counterparts remarkably well. It's amazing how they could produce a movie with simple jokes suitable for kids yet still silently addressing real-life issues at the same time. At last, I definitely recommend this movie for the whole family as I deem it enjoyable for all ages.

First of all this is the first Sri Lankan animation film so certainly this movie have some symbolic value but unfortunately this movie don't contain and unique qualities or animation for 10/10 rating, this is a made in SriLanka movie so it should contain some srilankan attributes . Yes the environment looks authentic.

But if we consider story that is a perfect replica of tamil movie, corrupt politician , spoiled girl , poor boy . It looks like tamil to me .

As a result that main story didn't have proper attention , it is incomplete , at least it looks like incomplete

Yo, guys, let me tell you about this Sri Lankan 3D animated movie called Gajaman. Now, I'm not gonna lie, the first half of the movie was pretty decent. But then, oh boy, the final 10 minutes were a total mess.

The jokes were super cringey and the storyline was so predictable and lame. Like, seriously, they put in a lot of hard work into the animation, but the story and direction were just so weak.

I mean, I get it, it's a kids' movie, but that doesn't mean it has to be so basic and uninspired. I was really hoping for something better, but unfortunately, Gajaman just didn't deliver.

Overall, if you're looking for a fun and engaging animated movie, I'd say give Gajaman a miss. There are definitely better options out there.

As I mentioned earlier, the animation in the movie was actually pretty good. The characters were well-designed and the colors were bright and eye-catching. However, that's about where the positives end.

The storyline felt like it was ripped straight from a generic kids' movie plot generator. There was nothing new or exciting about it, and the way it unfolded was just so predictable. It's like the writers didn't even try to come up with something original or engaging.

And don't even get me started on the jokes. They were so cringey and forced that I found myself rolling my eyes more often than laughing. It's like the writers were trying too hard to be funny, instead of just letting the humor come naturally from the characters and situations.

Finally, the direction of the movie was just all over the place. It felt like the filmmakers weren't quite sure what kind of tone they were going for, and so the movie ended up being a mishmash of different styles and genres. This made the final 10 minutes of the movie feel like a slippery slope, as everything just devolved into a confusing mess.

All in all, I would say that Gajaman is a well-meaning but ultimately forgettable movie. While the animation is certainly impressive, it's let down by a lackluster storyline, cringe jokes ripped off from viral videos on politicians and priests, and direction that feels unfocused. If you're looking for a better animated movie to watch, I'd recommend checking out some of recent #D animated movies with a good story line and better characters, like Puss In Boots : The last wish , instead.

Even though this took around 10 or more years to be made as now they have the full set up and the expericnes they can created the second part in less time.

I shoud say sound and music part were top as well so looks like this 3d aniamted films showed up sri lanka also have top talents and I am glad peopls showed this much interest to this film so the production crew will be very happy about theire future films

So first of all I have to I had zero expectations going into the theatre I didn't even knew who was the cast before the movie .

Movie isn't the best movie I have ever seen but it is good enough to watch story is so simple and there aren't many plot holes either GAJAMANs transformation in the end feels like rushed they could've added more action in the end. Animations are good enough but there is so much to improve I think we can see lot more better in their next projects.

And the jokes.. were bit childish (maybe bcz the involvement of Wasthi ) but their were good comedy through out I say this is an absolute win in the Sri Lankan movie industry this is a new start for sure with so much to improve and so much potential.

Even though it is the first 3D animation film in Sri Lanka, the way the film has been presented to the audience in a very sophisticated and skillful way is excellent. The music of the film can be mentioned as one of the main interesting things. The way the characters have been used as well as the dubbing has been done in such a way that no flaw can be seen. It can be described as a film made with the contribution of a large number of people as well as with great effort. Another special thing is Mr. Sunil Perera coming to mind.
