One of the best shows for preschoolers out there. It reminds a lot of Wow Wow Wubbzy, which makes sense since Bob Boyle, the creator of that show, works on this show.
Animation: While the animation isn't the most detailed out there, it's still quite fluid and energetic. That's all I got. Also, the background characters look like Wow Wow Wubbzy characters, thanks to Bob Boyle.
Writing: I absolutely adore the writing, even if the show is formulaic. The writing is clever, there are pop culture references (such as an Elton John parody), it's super educational about various science topics, and I like how it encourages taking a break when things get too hectic. In every episode, Chico takes a banana break and stops to think about the current situation, I like that.
Characters: The characters are quite likable. Chico is a confident leader who also has a weak side (which is why he takes a banana break in every episode), Rainbow Thunder is equal parts daredevil and science nerd, Clark is an Elkin John fanboy who is nervous all the time, and Tiny is mysteriously mute, I hope we learn more about her in future episodes.
Music: The theme song is super catchy, even if it does repeat the show's title over and over. I also like the little ditties that were incorporated into the episode "Musical Meltdown", courtesy of Elkin John.
Enjoyment: This is a super fun, humorous, and educational show that will delight all ages. I recommend it even if you're not a kid. The best part is that episodes are only 11 minutes, meaning you have plenty of time to watch them.

There is an episode about an underwear parade. What?!? In fact it's the first episode of the show. The characters get together to do a parade in nothing but their underwear. At one point they even pull their waistband out and snap it to do a "snap check". Just think about that. Do you want your children thinking an underwear parade is ok??...especially if there is a creepy person around. I have no idea why the creators of this show thought this was a good idea. My only thought is that they want your children conditioned to think that wearing just their underwear around people is ok because they're groomers. This isn't something children need to be conditioned to do. Do not let your kids watch this.

Very clever show both children and adults will enjoy!
Great humor, wit and music with a lesson in each show! Helping Elkon John in second episode and the various approaches to help are but one example of the episodes wit, charm and learnings (eg pulleys and piñatas). Highly recommended for all!

Monkey eats lots of sugar all the time. You can not comment their youtube videos since they restricted that. Do not let your kids watch, at least those of sugar stupidity. They pass a very wrong message: always shopping foolish things like sugar and when eating it is a nightmare of sugar. Im a dentist and this should be forbidden to prevent sugar consuption in excess. Also the backgroud sounds are somewhat strange, i m not an expert on that but it didn't make me confortable.
I am comenting here as a father and Dentist because it is not allowed to coment on their youtube videos, as mentioned above. Youtube should be more incisive on these videos for kids.

Chico Bon Bon is a monkey with a tool belt and leader of the Fix-It Force, which consists of extreme kitty Rainbow Thunder, cowardly elephant Clyde, and Tiny the mouse. Whenether someone calls the group via Bananaphone needing help, the four are ready to help solve whatever problem they have.
This is actually a neat show for younger kids. Each episode basically teaches different things in engeering and science. Also, Chico has this thing called "banana breaks" where when he feels he can't solve a problem, one of the other characters give him a banana to eat, which helps him calm down and think of the problem and what he tried to find the final answer, which is also a good lesson. With lovable characters and nice stories, Chico Bon Bon is one show I would reccomend to parents.

My son gets a kick out of chico. The show has good helpful characters helping solve silly problems around town. It leans into childish humor and issues while also introducing critical problem solving skills and the thought process behind them. Its also good about showing the characters trying something, failing, and trying again! The first episode with the underwear parade is a little odd but its meant to again play into that childish humor. Kids love walking around in their underwear and yes of course you should teach them when is appropriate to be in their underwear and when isn't. Or just skip the first episode and enjoy every other hilarious and fun episode with your kids!
