Good Movie. Everybody acted very well in the movie. BGM in the movie was not good. The movie was interesting at 1st half but the movie lagged and bored at 2nd half. The movie had some twists in the climax of which were good. Good Movie.

ONE DAY JUSTICE DELIVERED REVIEW :
The stories based on Justice have been tried so may times in Bollywood and we hardly remember some of them. So, the motto while attempting the same story should be different or something new to connect it with us. One Day Justice Delivered based on same story hardly delivers anything to watch. If you look at the script then potential was definitely there but sadly it wasn't used in good way by the team.
The movie focuses on the investigation and strategies followed by a crime branch special officer to solve the mystery of missing high profile persons. Anupam Kher plays a Retired Judge Tyagi who wants to correct mistakes done by him under the books of law, so he kidnaps those criminals and tortures them as hell. Esha Gupta is that Crime Branch officer who is appointed to find the kidnapper and she give her all time to the case but does she succedd? And what happens next? Watch the film to find the answers. Coming to the acting one must accept that Anupam Kher has used all of his experience to put soul in this half dead script. But how long a film can survive on one actor's shoulder if the screenplay is like said before, half dead? If there is not that much space or impact available from the writer then how he is supposed to convince the audience? Esha Gupta tries to be that Rowdy and hardcore officer but never succeeds although her local accent was well uttered. Kumud Mishra is decent and so does rest of the cast. Screenplay has lots of mistakes and lacks tight moments which is unacceptable when the film is promised to be a Thriller. That atmosphere is never built because of so many goofs and too simple theories in the writing. An outdated fashion of storytelling works like an irritation when the loud songs and BGM appears for no reason. Music is a big let down here. Director Ashok Nanda should have tried something different to tell this important story cause we have seen the same theme so many times before and that too with freshness of that old time.
Those last 20 minutes at the End lifts the tempo of the film Up and therefore One Day Justice Delivered somehow manages to end up as a Below Average Film. If you can be happy for 20 minutes in 124 minutes feature film despite knowing the Predictable plot then One Day Justice Delivered is One Time Watchble film for you. Apart from that the other reason to watch the film could be Anupam Kher's brilliant performance, and nothing else.
RATING- 3/10*

Esha Gupta is worst actress ever ! But in spite of that they let her act and spoil the movie ! Should have donated the money instead ! Worst acting with fake lips, fake plastic and fake accent 😖😖

Movie review - One Day - Anupam Kher shines in this vigilante thriller
There is something about the vigilante thriller genre that always throws up a surprise or two. The core concept of such a film is always exciting because invariably you root for the protagonist. Of course one of the core aspects of this genre is also that the central protagonist is never really all white and carries quite a few grey shades. However, it is considered to be the part of the job and since inherently it is about the good taking on the evil, you look for the results without really worrying about the means.
This is what happens in filmmaker Ashok Nanda's One Day as well which talks about the justice being eventually delivered 'one day'. 'Der aaye par durust aaye' could well be the underlining theme of the film here as Anupam Kher, a retired judge, goes into a vigilante spree as he takes on the wrongdoers of the society who were let free when sheer 'kanoon' was followed. The idea is to bring justice, even if not quite in a 'kanooni' way and this is what keeps the narrative engaging.
Some time back Harshvardhan Kapoor had gone into a vigilante mode with Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. As a common man, he got into a rather realistic space with the Vikramaditya Motwane film. This time around Anupam Kher gets into a core Bollywoodish filmy drama mode and torture is his way to lend his own brand of justice.
Other than him, the ones who have good screen time are Kumud Mishra and Esha Gupta. Kumud Mishra is one fine actor who just like Pankaj Tripathi can raise any scene just with his presence and unique dialogue delivery. He does that in One Day as well where his characterisation too is meaty enough to warrant his presence. From De De Pyaar De to Article 15 and now One Day, he is indeed having a good run.
On the other hand Esha Gupta has played a cop earlier too on Chakravyuha. However, that Prakash Jha directed film was more realistic in appeal whereas in One Day, Esha is required to go over the top. Had she played a regular Hindi speaking girl instead of getting to go the Haryanvi zone, her part in the film may have come across as more absorbing.
The film as a whole too absorbs for a good part of it though at places you do realise that a few cinematic liberties have been taken. That was expected as well though as the genre is such, though you do feel that without its song and danc routine the end product may have been even crisper. After all, A Wednesday had managed to do that and that too featured Anupam Kher in there.
In that film, the veteran actor was on the right side of the law as Naseeruddin Shah had turned out to be the vigilante. In case of One Day, he is practically playing both the roles, though in different time frames, and this is what makes his characterisation further interesting. No wonder, he is enjoying his time out there and shines all over again, which by the way is always the bare minimum expectation as well from him.
You can watch One Day for its masala entertainment appeal.

The plot was very good but not sure why esha gupta was speaking haryanvi in jharkhand which was so pathetic. Acting wise everybody was good except esha gupta. If on the same plot actor like Tabu was taken movie would have been much great.

Quite a different movie from the usual crime thrillers. Feels like there is really no mystery and then there is a twist at the end. Of course, you can't apply logic in such stories but if you allow some leeway to the script writers, it is quite entertaining.
Anupam Kher is great as always but Eesha Gupta and Kumud Mishra have also done their job well. The accent given to Eesha Gupta is kind of annoying and weird (Haryanvi in Jharkhand - why) and Sr Crime Branch office dancing in a bar is weird but if you let that slide, the story has some interesting turns and twists. Worth watching once.

An average attempt at a suspense thriller. The first half is slow and boring but the second picks up a little bit and is better. Can be skipped. Not a must watch

Well, as a movie it works for the mind. But is its the only way left to provide justice..? Its an Anupam Kher show all the way. Good supporting and a few new good actors did well. Songs need not be there in such kinda films. One time watch.

Story is great.
Direction and screenplay is super lousy.
But depicts the situation in Ranchi perfectly.
Medical system is appalling , humble request from everyone to stay away from Medica and Curie hospital even in lockdown.

This was a very ordinary movie in every sense of the word. It was not a terrible movie in terms of quality but one of the "C" grade movies where you can correctly predict the outcome. Not worth making the trip to the cinema.

The story begins on a interesting note - but soon starts to go downhill as soon as Esha Gupta enters the space. its a shocking performance, infact had to switch it off and made sure i wrote this review after.
A good thriller with all good actors. Kumud mishra shines..Anupam ji as always..Esha is learning to be an actress from a model tag..music could be better..

Movie was avergae, or perhaps a little below average. I genuinely enjoyed Mr Anupam's acting but Esha Gupta ruined this movie, the accent kwpt going off, couldnt she just stick to normal hindi? Couldn't bear listening to her, totally ublikable on screen. 0 screen presence.

The movie was going fine till the time that Esha Gupta with her stupid accent and overacting killed it all. She is the worst choice, doesn't deserve even a single line of dialogue

Good Thriller. Cant Predict the twist in the tale till the last scene. Esha Gupta could simply speak hindi. Anupam Shines. Director Nanda has delivered an above average thriller drama could have been much serious by taking out couple of songs. A good watch overall..
