In what A. M. has directed you can see that she poured her heart and soul into crafting it. You really feel for the main character, Hanka, and her emotions due to amazing voice acting and subtitle facial acting. The establishing shots for the opening are the only things that aren't paced perfectly. The scoring is subtile, and the sfx are loud, however sfx are always purposefully loud to put you in the monotony of Hanka. However, that isn't to the detriment to the film making. While the jokes don't always completely land, almost all of them serve the world and character building. They are a bit too long and feel like a burden on the short runtime.
