...And that urination fact was one of the key elements in the show, which just made it all the more hilarious.
I stumbled upon Lasse Rimmer's 2016 stand-up comedy show on Netflix, and being Danish, of course I had to give it a go. Even more so, because he is usually a stand-up comedian that delivers a show that is so much more than just below-the-belt jokes and fart jokes.
He sticks to his program, and delivers a stand-up show that is driven by sublime humor that is laced with intellectual thought. And he actually does give the audience something to think about as well, so it is more than just mere cheap laughs.
As always, he has a good on-stage presence and it is clear that he feels comfortable on the stage and in the spot light. And I do love the way that he is able to make fun of himself as well. So there is nothing too sacred here.
I was quite entertained throughout the show, although this wasn't the best or most funny of all of his shows that I have seen. But if you like stand-up comedy, then Lasse Rimmer is definitely on the established heavy-weights of Danish stand-up comedy, especially known for his intellectual approach to the genre.
"Kæpheste" from 2016 is definitely worth taking the time to sit down and watch.
