While this had all of the trappings of a routine LMN movie, what really offended me here was just how poor the decisions were of the two lead actresses. It's an insult to women to think that two people could act as stupidly as they act. Normally in an LMN movie it's always the woman who makes the final heroic move.
Samaire Armstrong has earned the more exposure on LMN that she's getting. She's the only thing keeping this movie afloat. I blame the writers for the role they created for her.
Sorry, I find Allie DeBerry to be annoying. LMN can find better young actresses than her.
Corin Nemec gets a bit more of a role than his usual uninteresting male role that are a staple of LMN movies. His performance is average at best.
Most LMN movies have a predictable plot but it's a workable, fairly believable plot. This one falls short on this account.

As a sailor, I tend to love any movie with a sailboat in it -from as good as Captain Ron to as ridiculous as Robert Redford's All is Lost. But, Deadly Excursion (or Paradise Prey - whatever it is called) is the WORST I could ever imagine. To waste a perfectly gorgeous boat and such spectacular scenery on such terrible acting and screenplay writing should be a crime. And, to leave the door open for a sequel should be a capital offense. I found myself rooting for the bad guy as soon as the two women (Ms. Dumb and Dumber) decided to leave the boat and swim for the island. Certainly, the boat had a radio. Advice to anyone writing sailing movies - PLEASE USE COMMON SENSE WHEN DIRECTING YOUR ACTORS AND WRITING THEIR LINES.

This could have been good and it started well but the story got so silly it was irritating. The two women did everything a normal person in this situation would not do. Watch it if you like shouting at the screen.

This came across as a cautionary tale of not trusting strangers when you meet them on vacation.
Look for:
1. The mother and daughter - as they do in LMN movies - look like SISTERS. Also, mother needs a bleach touch up.
2. The sleazy way the kidnapper treats the mother and daughter when they are kidnapped.
3. The creepy bad guy with the fish poison.
4. The horrific way the daughter is treated by the fish-poison guy.
5. As noted, the weird twist ending - I did not see that coming.
Have a few drinks and enjoy.

Awful awful awful. Both leads suck, Samaire Armstrong in particular - retire hunny, you can't act to save your life!
