Just want to give an honest opinion about this feature. For one I directed this one, sound mixed gripped and gaffed. I did this all when I should have just had one job to do!!! So yeah I did a lot for this feature more than most and I still believe it should have a ranking of at least 5-6 stars.
We did shoot IR scene that have not been done in a horror film yet. We made the most out of every bad situation and still made it to an editable watchable feature.
I have sent countless emails out for people to review this feature and be honest. And most have and I'm am going to keep on reaching out to reviewiers and people to generate money for my cast and crew. We had originally a $2400 budget and keep digging in our pockets adding more money to try to improve this feature.
All the actors, crew, etc worked for point so with every view they will get paid. I wish this would have turned out great but we only got to film 11 days of production before we lost all our insurance. We got what we could.
I have to say this I hear from all these filmmakers saying a bunch of trash. Go out there and do something don't say your going to just do it. This feature is at least out and is slowly making money. Compared to all the filmmakers who are still talking about doing something. Or all the run away productions I've worked on. That will never see the light of day.
Yes I have ask a ton of people to leave a review, and surprising a lot of people left a star review and didn't leave a written. I have got the word out to respected people in the film insdustey and they have emailed people as well. I assume these people just gave a star review.
I personally don't care how the community ranks it or how they review it. The people giving 1 stars have every right to there opinion and there reviews. Every watch puts money in my actors pockets, crews and mine. So I don't care how you review it just watch it.
This feature was a sacrifice to be able to show investors we can take an idea from start to distribution. And we did so it opened the door to funding for all other films, we have in the works to do right with not great funding at first. But possible real funding in the future. Where I can stick with just one job instead of several on set.

From some of the review comments I read, I was expecting a real dog of a movie. The truth is, the plot left something to be desired, but the acting wasn't bad, the dialog flowed well, and the camera work was smooth. The story itself was interesting, but I couldn't figure out the 'family dynamics' and I thought the 'dad' character was a bit of an a-hole. In all, I'd watch more from this group. I was not solicited to provide a review. I'm just a regular guy throwing in his two cents.

They ask me to give an honest review and I am. Sorry if I seem like an ass but I think it deserves 7/10 stars. Saw some reviews like 1 star. Have you seen Troll 1 or 2, Jason X, House of Wax, Birdemic and The Room? Those are embarrassments that had real funding. Those deserve 1 stars.
Got an email from a very close friend who Directed the movie and said give an honest review. He told me to watch it on Amazon, and rate it there and IMdB as well. So I am this one seems easier than the instructions he sent for Amazon.
Well I know all the problems that went on with the film hell I am going to invest in a film with these guys soon. I know the budget was under $7k, hell maybe under $5K. I was just going to leave a ranked review and move on but some 1 star reviews prompted me to make a statement.
The director told me he personally thinks the film deserves 3-5 star review out of 10. I am just here saying I know the struggles, I hope people watch it and I hope everyone makes there money back and more. Its really not that bad of a film, its not the greatest film either.

So, a common thing to say is "Don't waste your time" when a movie is particularly bad. I'd suggest you go ahead and waste your time because it'll only take a couple minutes before you realize that this movie could've been made with a phone camera, a couple of high school buddies, and exactly $24.50.
The title of my review is meant to point to the 1,000+ reviews and 9.6 rating. Wildly silly. You made a movie, that's cool, don't pretend like it's actually worth watching or presenting to the public though because it definitely is not.

I can't come up with anything to say about this movie except it's horrible. It's so bad I couldn't finish it. To make matters worse are the high reviews, obviously from cast and friends, trying to pass it off as watchable. All you are accomplishing is making fools of yourselves and deceiving viewers.
Read a review here that said "the acting wasn't bad". In what planet? Modern day people acting mostly okay. People from the early 1500's acting beyond laughable. Or to put it mildly extremely lousy! Among my favorites was the guy with a deep southern accent playing a person from Spain. So why the high review, laughed through most of the movie, especially when the devil was talking to the priest.

I really can't understand why this movie has such a high rating, it's absolutely abysmal Bad acting, offensive stereotypes, ridiculous plot. However much was spent on producing this was too much.

I am going to give my honest opinion I think the movie was good considering a lot of factors. Got an email from a really good friend the other day asking anyone with an IMdB account to please watch the feature and review the movie also on Amazon. Or start an account or even start a prime membership and cancel to watch the film and get the actors paid.
I think this is the first use of IR photography in any horror film. Saw the other reviews and feel they are nonsense. There are so many bad movies out there and this is not one of them. Hell even checked a few of these guys out seems like trolls. All bad reviews come on guys!! It isn't great by any means but it is good. I got to say any indie filmmaker is going to have to work with what was given.
In the email I did see the budget they worked with, and going back in forth with my buddy who knows the guys doing it told me of all the problems they encountered. So I am giving it 8/10 stars. I think with no money in the budget and giving a percent to all actors, crew, and people involved deserves some recognition. I am going to check out a few other titles some friends told me about, and give a review on those and hopefully take nights and weekends to start working on doing some reviews for some indie filmmakers.
To the other reviewers saying how did they get stars or reviews? I guess I am proof they have ask thousands of people to give an honest review and even took time to to respond to my questions about how they even pulled off a film like this with no budget. So there you go I hope a few others right in that got the email request to do a review, instead of taking the easy road and just giving a quick pick rating. A quick pick rating doesn't help anyone out people should take some time and do a quick review!!

This review does not contain spoilers: This movie is so bad that nothing can spoil it .
When I started watching it this movie had rating 8.0. I am sure it's going to drop dramatically. Someone manipulating the rating.
Don't wait your time! There is nothing to see there. Looks like movie was filmed in 1 take, because acting is so horrible, that I can't believe this is the best actors can do after multiple attempts.
Only thing is good about this movie is that there are no plot holes, but that because there is no plot what's so ever.

Hollywood has millions to do movies and they can't come up with nothing new and they lose millions it's time for the young film makers to have a chance. Good job can't wait to see your next movie.

Don't waste your time. Acting, horrible, story horrible. I'm still trying to figure out what the Knights Templar are doing fighting Indians in the old west. Wrong century dude! As a reviewer stated earlier, someone must have a lot of friends for a 9.6 rating. False ratings do more harm than good in the long run.
